The chassis do not have the mounting tabs. Thanks in advance for your help. For the most part, I use a post in front, glued to body. And fot the rear a type of cradle, looks like upside down U (but squared). Rests on top plate just to the rear of where plate narrows. Works good for me and I think most others. Picked up on it when I joined site. I think most if not all resin bodies the casters are doing have mounts cast into body. Not sure who was the first to do this. But it's made things easier for me. .................hope this helps, PC

I have made my own mounts from 5/32 styrene rod and styrene sheets that I glued together to obtain the thickness I wanted and then cut and file into shape. Hobby Lobby and Hobby Town have styrene supplies.

JJ, next time see if they have tubing same size. Way easier than drilling and holes are always true.
Should have mentioned before. When gluing the post in I found two methods that work. What I do is use "goop" the household version. Beed around post, wet finger and run around post. Like caulking something. Stuff holds great like this and can be removed without damage if need be. Have had post snap off with every kind of super glue. But not in last two years since using goop.
Bear with me on the second way.. I use super glue, but only when drilling a hole through the body. Need to do a little body work, unless a blower or scoop hides the blemish. This way glue can be applied both inside and outside. If hole is kept tight so post is snug, and glue is applied to encircle post. The fusing both inside and out yeilds a bullet-proof post (for the most part).
