Looks great Sam! One question, how wide is your track? I'm trying to decide how wide to make mine. I really like the width of yours.

Great look so far. I agree the yellow contrasts with the track nicely. Enjoying the stages of the construction and the PSD nostalgia being worked back in. Very cool!!

a few more construction shots. Have all the timing holes drilled for the sensors, track screwed down. I'll be wiring the track this weekend. used drywall to make off track flush with the track. Laid some sod down. Was going to go with styrene walls but found these wood trim pieces at Lowe's for less than $3 each. They come in 8' lengths.

The track looks like it's going to be a fast one, what do you have for a shutdown section? Also is that a laminate racing surface? I really like the shine.

Chihuahua races can be fun. I have dachshunds....they can be fun too. Track is looking fantastic. You are motivating me to start setting up for my upcoming improvements. That surface looks smooth and fast. Keep posting.

Put power to the track yesterday and installed the DP3000 this morning. I only need some overhead lighting for the photo cells. I ran a few cars down the track yesterday and it is smooth! Can't wait to hook up some lighting to get some E/T's. laid down some pinstripe this morning as well. Speed trap at the top end Starting line area

Track is fully operational. Track-mate's new software is pretty cool. After a race, a voice calls out the results for each driver. Also there is a new feature that is very convenient for practicing. You can set it up to start when one or two cars are staged. No more hitting enter once both cars are staged. Also another new feature is the full screen. I have an email in with Daniel asking why it shows results for .001 instead of .0001 like I'm used too. I can't find how to change this anywhere in the settings. Also not sure why it says 6 and 60. Should be 60' and 660'. This is my first set up with intermediate times such as 60' and half track. Just another cool way to tune the gearing. I guess they offer a 1000' sensor that I need to look into. Shows MM/PS but these were actually some bracket cars we were playing with. Track-Mate's new software Track-Mate

Good show Sam! I like that yellow and white treatment! I did the same on mine and used a real thin auto car trim tape for the white and burnished down real good.
Let me know if you get an answer from Dan. I have sent a few emails to him over the last few months with no reply. I was wondering why the 3 digit verses 4 digit with the full screen also.
Track is really looking top drawer!
Regards - Alan
My HO TKO track is just about done. I took it down to build the 1/43 scale track. The TKO track is now mounted on modules that sets on top of the 1/43 track. Timing system and power is prewired and simply plugs into the 1/43 track!
Plan on running both HO and 1/43 for 2015

Alan, Look under display in settings. There is a 3 & 4 digit option at the bottom. Daniel emailed me back last night to let me know.
