pceng - race starts July 10, wanted cars here by 8th. Big races require a lot of set up, pics, videos etc.. Last year we had around 75 cars, I think we are close to that again.

WOO HOO!! Raceday around the corner!! I am still working on cars...painting...tuning...etc. ran a little long on projects this time. But looking forward to the race and seeing all the cars as always. Looks like we might have a good turn out. I know Robert and I always enjoy putting on a good show....this one will be no different. Track records are up for grabs. Good luck to everyone!!

cars and prizes will arrive tomorrow. I looked but couldn't find class voltages. Can someone re-post them? Nothing went as planned. I had to send my old Altered for my FED and was unable to get any work done on my MM/PS so please drop me from that class. The Altered is flying, I hope it holds up. It ran a .4144 @ 40.34 mph @ 26V. It only has 4 runs on it and like I said, I hope it holds up.......... it has a plastic crown gear.  |

That's moving a .41.......... think we'll be seeing .3's soon in the feds........... maybe before the weekend ! ooooooooooooo.....
Looking forward to this made changes to every car except mm/ps cars just reset brushes on T-bird.......... very intrested in results for all......... and THE FEDS ARE RUNNING ! ! hehehehehe....always give me the giggles........ The "Green Fed" , the "John Deere" , the "tractor"....... did I forget any ? ........ hopefully gets a decent pass in , changed to rare earth t-mags...... won't be killer fast if it does , stock inline........... 2nd fed , green(had to use what was on hand after collision to make race) roadster....... I am apprehensive about , to say the least...... maybe scared even...... never ran it more than 15" @ 13v, until I took it to , Doug's. From start line went 12' with blip of trigger , caught sight of it as it was crossing finish and saw it splattering on wall before it stopped about a foot short........ did not run it again....... NEVER HAS SEEN 27V'S .........hehehehe there I go again.......... be it mineral or vegtable , you might want to remove any perishable items from vicinity of track........ lol

FED RUN I recorded one pass, this was actually a little quicker than the #'s I posted. My car has natural rubber foam rear tires. I think .3's are doable with more test & tune. The video is choppy and slow. Too big a file.

Sweet Sam!! I sure hope you run that.41 on the Blacktop. I believe it is possible, as I ran a .429 on the old track with the paper weight. It only ran twice but when it did it was fast. Good Luck!

My FED has not responded at all like I expected. One last attempt to be made Wed. Got to put it up to give other cars a once over. Really bumming....I was hoping for more. Gear plate is super smooth and solid though. That is the one good thing in all of it. So much for mighty mouse  . The plastic crown on yours is a little concerning, but we will handle it with kit gloves and get you through the race. |

Think I messed up bad...... BONEHEAD MOVE....... for sure (Rob, was going to send PM , but might as well let everyone be warned)....... may have used comm cleaner instead of oil........ was in a hurry......duh. TAKING ONES TIME HELPS PREVENT SUCH THINGS....... kick - kick....
Cars might need drop of oil ......... before things are over (hope not , buuuut....)........... Peter

Still have not built my FEDs have been upgrading track with white barrier wall length of track. Since my track is portable everything has to be removable. The wall is attached with 1mm dot neo magnets and is made of foam board. I think it gives it a nice look and protects the cars in the event of a crash.
