I notice the weights for the cars that I am running are low and a couple of them are stockers with all the trimmings, still 2 grams light. They have, scoops wheelie bars, windows, wings, full plastic body's with no weight trimmed off. These bodies are the heaviest I have. Who set the weight limits Mr. leadbottom? Anyway what it the best way to add more weight to my lead sleds? One other question where do we put the numbers we are assigned?

Dave, weight rules were set in some classes so that some of the heavier resin bodies could be used and so that details were not compromised such as scoops, wings, parachutes etc...... This would also include not having to shave the under side of the body which weakens the body. If it were up to me I'd have minimum weights in all classes. It helps level the playing field and makes the customizers happy. Hobby Lobby sells what I believe is called poster tape? It works good for sticking under the body. Lucky Bob's also sells thin sheets of lead with an adhesive on one side.

Numbers can go anyplace....... I grnerally use small piece of masking tape on bottem of chassis or underside of body....... just make it visable. Any piece of lead can be used for weight...... wacked a .440 ball with hammer a few times......... use household goop to glue in body.
