Like the names....... can almost FEEL THE THUNDER !
Put me down for two of each when things open.......... put some time in on stock cars (for a change)....... running better than ever , don't expect much...... stock jets have always been slo-ow........ but hope to get off the bottem of the QT pile....... playing with balast now for tire spin....... actually had fun rebuilding them....
N/PS , are good to go....... well , keep playin' with them for a couple of weeks........ but they both act like beasts on launch pad , find out at the race if there any good......
This is going to be another race I'll be looking forward to the results... ......... Peter

just for the record and verification of what Peter says, form another thread .... " ... AUGUST 1-3 2014 Alpink aka draglstyltskyn will be hosting an event that will feature Stock(tjet) and Nostalgia Pro Stock(tjet) classes. ..." my track is 10' 3.75" timed and 18' overall with 6' of shutdown that is 4 pieces of 1" wide X 0.25" thick 6' long steel bar stock with a slot between each of the two. granted this will not do much to slow down non-traction magnet cars. but, hopefully t-jets will be able to stop in 6'. there will be a nice soft catch of some sort(yet to be determined)at the very end to catch too fast cars safely. power supply is variable up to 30 volts X 10 AMPs and will be properly adjusted per rules for each class. I hope to have one of the regulars from NitroSlots assist me with running this event and one of my regulars from our local races. timing system is one of the first generation Slot Dragon's with BondoMan LED sensors which will provide RTs and ETs but not MPH. I had considered wiring up a toggle to activate both lanes simultaneously but was convinced by NinjaTek to have actual volunteers react to the tree and race the cars. this will be my first event with NitroSlots rules and participants and first ever sole mail in/proxy race. I hope I can live up to expectations and reputation with the help of the two volunteers. I look forward to hosting this race and if successful, maybe another next year. be aware, I am NOT a RaceMaster, but rather have been deemed THE SLOT NAZI by 1/24 racers in times gone by and has kind of stuck. those who have had the fortune(or misfortune as it may be) to attend a live race I have been involved with will verify the veracity of said reputation. LOL ! looking forward to participation of some of my regular local racers as well as established NitroSlot competitors. 2 car per class per owner for this event. thank you, alpink aka draglstyltskyn

O great one please put me down for 2 in each. I don't mess with t-jets much but I may have just enough parts for 4 cars. In N/PS is my 70 Chevelle okay. I also have 1 69 Charger I can put a snorkel scoop on would that make it legal?
Oh yea put me down as a sponsor I will make a few goodies for the race.

Oh yea put me down as a sponsor I will make a few goodies for the race. You are on the list at #10 & #11 for both classes. Welcome to the race! . . .I don't mess with t-jets much but I may have just enough parts for 4 cars. In N/PS is my 70 Chevelle okay. I also have 1 69 Charger I can put a snorkel scoop on would that make it legal? Both cars are okay but be careful on scoop selection. Just a heads up for those with N/PS entries: (In case someone is thinking Modern Pro-Stock scoop or snorkel. Hood appendages encouraged, but not required.). . . Air-scoops will be permitted but must conform to one of the styles common to the era. Common scoop/hood treatments are early pro-stock "boxes" or snorkels. Also permitted are Ford type 'hood blisters.” Modern Pro-Stock and Pro-Mod scoops are not permitted nor are injector 'hat' inductions permitted. Cowl induction hoods are permitted but should not be extreme in size. . . .

I have a tjet arm with gold color wire and gray lams. Is this just a standard tjet arm? We need more cars for Al's race, every one must be afraid of the fast cars already entered....HA,HA
............Thanks, Dennis
