Set me up a little 10 foot track with a 33 inch shut down. I will test all my cars with this instead of setting up the big track. Sure is fun, just leave it up to test anytime.

All of ya'll may already know this, but this is how I test on a short 10ft. track. Take your time say 1.200 divide by 10 that equals .120 multiply by 5 that equals .600 now add 1.200 to .600 equals 1.800 that is about how fast your car will be in 15 ft. This formula works for any size track. Jeff and I did this when we first started and we could dial into other folks tracks doing this. Of course with adjustable power supply makes it easier to dial in. If all you have is a walwart say 22V @ 1 amp, just dial for as fast as you can go and should be okay. I like doing it this way because the Blacktop is a little work to set up just to tune. Old school racing I love it.

Hey Al , Was thinking I would soon be able to help sponsor some races. Only disastrous results with last ATTEMPTED castings put the kabash on that. Every mold ripped to pieces , and apparently Alumlite is considered seasonal by Hobby Lobby along with slot cars. I had made up a dozen sets of wheelie-bars for give-aways at , Doug's Oct. event. Will send a pair for every entrant on list when my cars leave for PA. T-jet screw down type brass bars...... DO NOT SEND ANY TO , DOUG. HE DOES NOT DESERVE THEM........Baaaaaahahaha ! ..........naw , just messin with everyone else..... he's already got a dozen. Took him the bars , beads , & pins....... he put the wheels on(thanks for the help bud)..... .......... Peter

Well the hauler left this morning. I hope it isn't as slow as the cars are, if it is it will never make it to PA. on time.

Peter I ended up doing the same. Car hopped on launch so I added wheelie bars but still had too much wheelspin so I added 1 traction mag. It was still high enough off the track that it gave me just enough downforce. Added new motor mags, braids, and some Jag silicones.......along with a little tweaking here and there. It was a shot in the dark, but we will see where it's at.

Hey Jeff , went opposite way for same ending....... t/mag first then bars......... Did you go to Dash mags ? Been using JL mags...... and wanting to get some Dash........ Gasser has been running good on JL mags , but in truth I don't know if it will help going to Dash....... Or if the JL mags are a better match for the arm..... Know the Dash are stronger........ one of these days I'll get some and start all over. ......... Peter
