RACE FORMAT AND SCHEDULE
Welcome to 2014 NTRA LABOR DAY NATIONALS. We are at the late summer/early fall time of year here and temperatures are still in the mid to upper 90's . Track temp is around 80 - 85 in the heat of the day. This will be the projected racing schedule and format for Friday and Saturday. All cars have been pre qualified. Results will be posted shortly followed by the first round ladders. Cars were qualified by running 1 run in each lane and taking the best time of the two. We are utilizing a single elimination seeded ladder for all classes (printyourbrackets.com). Placement on ladder is based on qualifying time. All cars will be run together....no A and B brackets. We will check cars, pick ups for cleaning and contact, and clean tires before each run. We only oil as needed. Any special instructions supercede our normal procedures.
Friday's schedule: Recap of qualifying and posting of first round ladders in each class. Street Class eliminations and finals will run first followed by Top Fuel eliminations and finals. First 4 Match races will end the day.
Saturday's schedule: Recap of Eliminations from Friday. Nostalgia Top Fuel eliminations and finals will run first and the Kiwi Challenge Match races will end the show.
That's about it. Thanks for sending your cars. Lots of points up for grabs this weekend. We've got some work to do now. The track is in great shape. Lanes are running even, so there is no advantage either way. Anyway..........enough talk........let's get this thing going. Good luck to all the racers this weekend!!!
