How's the weather there in Fla. When I lived there it was always HOT, except for about 2 months in the winter. Looking forward to this weekends race since I sent in one of my hopped up cars. You have to be older to remember the phrase "hopped up" as it was from the 60s.

Hey Ninja, hope you super charged some life into that VW and been expecting your Slick sled can't wait to see what you built..... Did an engine swap on VW, should do a little better this time around. Leadsled has been powered down some from its Black Top debut to fit specs. Hope it still has enough left to keep from being embarrassed.

Now days it's "tune"...... bolting parts on isn't tuning....... And besides ........ you can tune a piano , but you can't tune a fish (couldn't resist).

I always laughed at the guys with the rice burners and their goofy wings and big fat 3" Muffler/exhaust pipe coming off a 1" exhaust. I think they were also called "tuners", but I don't know why. I really tried to race against them at the track during test and tune but rarely got the chance. When I had the Beretta they would almost never let me race anyone during test and tune, usually a single pass. I remember the Aurora "hop up kits", still think I have one of the boxes they came in. I have never been able to tunafish but then I can't tune a piano either.

I am honored and flabberghasted. thank you!!! I was pleasantly surprised to receive a couple color decal stickers(one of which will proudly go on my race box), a similar keychain and a Hairy Canary resin 55 Chevy Pro Mod to fit 4-gear chassis. I was unable to get my cars running properly and therefore had to back out and I wish I would have built them earlier. yet, I was included in the goodies and I really appreciate that. looking forward to next years ghouhlie affair and will be plenty ready with swift cars by then. thank you so much for including me .... al

Thanks to whoever painted the blue metalflake body. I cannot figure what kind of body it is but it looks good.

I got the green one all the way to left, was just wondering what chassis it would fit?
