For the race coming up in the pm hearse class, I know this question has been asked before but I can't find it. Are the rules unlimited like the outlaw and n/tf, is any chassis legal to run and any modifications? I know it is run on lower voltage. I have been struggling with this for a couple of days.
..............Thanks, Dennis

I have both of my Hearse cars ready now. 59 Caddy arrived, body not the greatest, found it on E bay, but it looks OK. Both are running decent on 13.5 volts which I have been testing at. I also checked the output on an Auto World wall transformer, they claim 800ma at 13.5 volts. This equals about 11 watts which is better than previously thought. I then checked the output voltage unloaded and it was over 18 volts. As soon as you put a load on it however the voltage dropped sharply but I think it maintained close to 13 volts at near 1 amp. Are you running a transformer for each lane? If so these cars may run quicker than we think.

22 volt walwart on each lane.. Doug, and I went through a few to find ones that match. Both 22 & 13v. Also have MRC power supplies , variable but only to 22ish volts. Not to worry - - - BOTH LANES RUN EQUAL ! ! !

Sounds good, I have been checking the cars at 13.5 which should give a good indication of how they will run.

Sam was one of the first to sign up for leadsled. Cordell gave him #3, but it looks like it has been assigned to another racer.

Had Cordell pull my entry. I'm not sure if I'll have a sled done in time. Don't count me out yet
