Had a dead heat race on my track, down to the thousandth. Both win lights go on when this happens. This is the second time it's happened but this time I took pictures.
Here are the ETs.
Here are the reaction times.
One of the cars had a .001 quicker reaction time and the other car ran .001 quicker. As you might expect they ran side by side all the way down the track.

Here is one race that was decided by .0001 or 1 ten thousandth.
If you do the math the difference in ET was .0190 and the difference in the reaction time was .0189.

I plan to hold some proxy races next year and this system will be great for that. It can print out all qualifiers in descending order among other features. I can also run bracket races with this system as it allows dial ins. The multiple readouts show where the cars are doing well or falling off. I am really surprised at how different the cars are in regards to reaction times even when starting them at the exact same time. The track is by Trakmate and currently at 15' 7" or a 1/64th scale 1000'.

yep. did you see the identical perfect lights that the broad and some guy cut at Pamona yesterday? The "broad" was Erica Enders Stevens and "guy" was Jonathan Gray in Pro Stock. Both known for their great reaction times......especially Jonathan. Erica won the race after they both cut perfect lights and went on to meet Jason Line in the Finals which she also won for the Pro Stock Title. Awesome.....awesome day of racing. Both racers red lit in the Finals.....Jason by 12 thou and Erica by 2 thou. Win to Erica! She is the first woman Pro Stock Champion and one BAD lady!!
