Pete is lucky it only knocked the body loose. With all the lead I put in the casket, (just to help it sink when we threw the body in the ocean), it should have gone thru the wall...

Cars returned home safely. 57 Chevy immediately stomped the Caddy to show who is still the boss. Someone did a little decor to the Caddy, it needed it, as all I did was paint it black. Seems like Peter is right there were some drag marks on the magnets which probably slowed down the 57. Thanks to all the sponsors for all the prizes and the little red Vette which ran .95s at 13+ mph. I now have to fill all those bodies with chassis.

Need to tell y'all NOT TO FEED them bat after Midnight cause if you do, they'll bring all your secrets home to me.. Mockingbird Mechanic tuned them bats like the ones in "The Dark Crystal" report anything that will give the upper hand for Next Years Race!! That's right this is a Forever Thing. . . Baahaha! Glad to hear the happy thoughts about the race and coverage! Thanks again for attending! Race On Doug412

I caught the SPY BAT flying around checking everything out. It ate some Cat food after midnight so that could be trouble for me. Never heard a Bat meow before???

Does like one of those posters from the 70's in the dark room with the black light........ only nobody wants to see it more than once now....lol. ....... Peter

Hey guys, was looking at build list for cars that attended race. Have not filled in for 2nd G3. Is almost the same as G3 listed. Couple of things should be noted.... Both the G3's had lvl 10 poly mags (motor & traction). One a spinner arm the other a 3ohm arm.. Either of these cars may well have won based on pure speed but both were dragging t-mags. Larger diameter tires would have helped either. Had same problem with several cars on this track and larger tires cured problem. What I found surprising was how well the spinner ran on a wall-wart. It did not seem to be lacking of power. Which a number of cars suffered from last year. The two G3's definitely changed my outlook as to what is possible for cars run on wall packs. ...... Peter

Peter Peter I ran my car, the black 57 Nomad, at 13v and set the amps a 1 on my track and it still easily beat the Caddy by a lot. I saw the drag marks on the bottom of the chassis so that was definitely slowing it down.
