Resin Bodies

My favorite HO slot cars are Gassers and Hot Rods; something that injection molding hasn't covered fully enough in my opinion. Whereas Resin Casters are covering this very well. Of course to someone who is a fanatic of a particular type of cars there can never truly be enough of what you want available. lol  There's only a few shortcomings with resin bodies for my purposes. To begin, I'm a terrible painter; just awful really. I shudder to think of the cost and waste of models I ruined as a kid. And HO cars being so small makes it that much worse. If only all casters molded either in color, or pure white as Hillside Raceway does. It's the off white, sorta yellow, or sorta grayish color that makes it so you have to paint the whole body. The other problem is the screw posts.  It would be great if the posts were pr-drilled by the seller;  absolutely add a cost for those that want this extra service. For sure I will split the posts if I drill it; my hands are messed up because of arthritis. That's the area where injection molding has resin bodies beat;  no painting and no drilling of posts !  ....Terry
