We used to fill the stands when we ran the heads up Pro Mods locally in Fla. Used to run at Sunshine and Bradenton, tracks I am sure you are familiar with. Ran some at Lakeland test and tune but the shut down was a little too short there and they had no specific event for such cars, just a quick 16 pro tree bracket race. It was scary running on an unprepped or lightly prepped track with that car. The motor could make way more power than the chassis could handle so I was never able to use those 3 stages it had.

I've had a wheelstander on the bench for a couple of years now. My biggest hold up has been trying to figure out the pickups and the guide pin. Now I've got a few ideas. The only problem now is getting the decals made and figuring out the gearing. Nice looking cars Dave. 1.27 60's I've got an idea what that's like, mine pulls 1.31, not quite that much wheelie though and no wheelie bars.

Thanks. As you know you get used to that acceleration level. Even in the Beretta I did not even feel the acceleration unless I had tire shake, don't know if you have experienced that but it is unforgettable. Then it felt like my face was getting ripped off. I knew guys who broke chassis, driveline parts and even teeth when they had tire shake. My son took the Beretta down the track once and it pulled his foot right off the throttle. Pulled about 3.5Gs at the start. If we had cars that could accelerate full scale like our HO cars can, 1/4 mile in 1 second or less, we would all be killed instantly.
