Got a call from Paul at Maxtrax.
He explained that he is having the same problem with the Neo stop track that we discussed in another thread.
When he tested it he had cars that all had the same magnet polarity. Then later he found not all cars use the same magnet polarity.
Very nice of him to give a personal call to explain the trouble.
I suggested metal strips embedded into the track instead of the power rails as we have discussed here. He said he would go to his machine shop and see what he could work up. He also suggested dynamic braking and I explained it has little effect on my short shutdown and the speeds some of my cars are running.
