thank you very much for the invite as well as the info on proxy racing that is something i definitely look into btw where is hudson compared to leesburg any idea? HAD TO LOOK THIS UP RIGHT AWAY ! Directions say 1hr 19 min........... looks like Leesburg would be half the distance to Gainsville. Hudson is north of Port Richey.

Mike, being new you brought up a point without knowing. Rules & schedule have been getting finished up. Body styles have been......mmmm expanded to other chassis. Bikes are scheduled as exhibitions. I don't recall trucks ever being brought up. Past race at , Doug's. Had a whole rig show up....... trailer & all. That was for the outlaw hurst........ Think this could be a fun class and bears some discussion....... ...... Peter Funny you would bring this up. I was thinking about having a race that would be semis only. Each one painted up by the guys for their race team. Each one has to pull the trailer with out it coming off.

January race will include a bracket race. No particular rules to worry about. ET will determine whether you run Street, Pro or Super Pro. Handicap is dialed in so that all cars have a fairly even chance. Reaction time is a factor. My son is taking a vacation day to help me run the brackets. He may have youth on his side but beware of the old sneaky guy.
A truck and trailer grudge race sounds like a fun idea.

Don't think trucks have ever been considered as a class unto themselves. We race about everything else. Would be intresting at the least. Don't remember trailers ever being part of racing , but it would be another twist. ...... Peter Tom , PM me your address.....

I have been reading and learning i have parts on order, and i think i'll start building my track today. honestly i love truck racing of all kinds , if you think about it the idea of hot rodding a Model A into a drag car is kind of a natural progression but you really have to be warped to do the same thing to a Kenworth

I was so inspired today that i started building my trackexcuse the drill chips on the floor i hadn't vacuumed yet set it up in an upstairs bedroom with a total of 13 feet end to end so far all the materials were free but i'm going to have to get the base for under the track. the worst part was cleaning the garage first so i could find my table saw

Mike, This just came up a few days ago........ if you'd like a thread could be started under the heading of HO drag tracks (look down home page). No name is needed to start thread & can be added later. Doing so will keep all info about your track in one spot. Just by posting under thread title. ........ Peter
