 Thought I would start a little guessing game before the upcoming race. Anyone can play as it is just for fun. The winner of each will be the one with the closest correct guess. Then I will total the results after all the different cars runs are completed. I thought I would do something a little different and use MPH for the figure you would be guessing. I will give the description of the car and what kind of chassis, tires, etc it has and then a guess would be made. All cars will run at 20 volts on the 15' 7.5" Max Trax.

First car for a MPH guess. 69 Mustang body, T jet chassis with dash magnets, stock 16 ohm arm, copper brushes, rear cluster gear has had the 9 tooth replaced with a 14 tooth gear, aluminum rims with .185 x .430 tires. One traction magnet. Good running almost stocker. The time will be disclosed on Jan 2nd. Thereafter a car will be posted and MPH disclosed every 2 days.  |

My mistake Mike, I am still thinking of full size cars. My 68 Camaro used to run times like that on motor in the 1/4. |

Just some advice on the track this car is running on.
It is a Max Trax with 3 10 gauge power feeds, start, middle, finish. It also has 2 10 amp power supplies and uses a button to run the cars not a controller so there is usually less resistance there.
Most of your cars will run a little quicker and faster on this track so judge accordingly. Mine picked up performance each time an improvement was made. The pass that this car made was not it's fastest. It has run at least a mph faster than it ran on this run but this was more like the average run. |
