Thanks Lewis Hey Lewis, The list of tools grows all.the time as you get accustomed to things. You'll find short cuts to things and what works best for you. A lot of specialty tools can be made from common tools. C-clamps can be made into wheel presses or pullers and so on. I think a thread exists about tools, see if I can find it. .......... Peter

Lewis, scroll down to tech tips click & scroll again. You'll find threads on tools , soldering and other things that will help. I have tweezers, a dbl ended screw drive, flat needle file, x-acto knife, and larger flat file with flat side out and on hand. A myriad of other tools in box draws. Practice with a soldering iron will help even if your familiar with one.

Thanks Peter, By the way I talked to Gary at scale auto today. Super nice guy. He said the 906 poly car would be about the best for her too. He also said the only thing he would change is the shoes and springs to gold and rear tire to their taller silicone tire. What do u think anything else you would upgrade on this car. Also I was looking at the mini vise, reamers, pin vise, Weller soldering station, files and ultra sonic cleaner on the web. You have anymore suggestions I have dremal and things like that

G3's are a good well made chassis so don't take this wrong. I'm not familiar with their product codes. But you almost have to expect the answer you got. I've only done the conversion on one G3 to T-bulkhead. Bassed on results, doing so will make any G3 both quicker & faster. Don't think brush size (contacting comm) is that much different. Imo , it's just a better electric system. ....... Peter
