Me and my son were just attempting to set a new track record with his car and we discovered that 2 10 amp power supplies are not enough to run 2 cars like this side by side. That was the reason times and MPH slowed when we ran eliminations in the recent outlaw race. Well that and tires flying off. Single lane runs were 7-10 mph quicker and ETs suffered a like amount. When cars of lower draw were on the opposing side there was a lot less loss.
New record set at 57.78 MPH, identical for both cars on single passes. Blew the front tire off in the traps on one of those passes.

which is why a lot of tracks that run outlaws use automotive batteries.

I considered that option but the non adjustability and the even crazier speeds that we would be running is something that I have a problem with. I could make a hole in the closet wall for another 3'of stopping room!!!!
