Cars for my son and me leaving by Dog sled today thanks to unusual amount of snow here in Tennessee.
Where is Al goofy Gore with his global warming?
Should make it there in time due to extra incentive. Sent a hungry Cougar after them looking for lunch.

The cars are headed south for warmer weather if nothing else! I know it's warmer there than -6 here. I think KS 1933's cars are headed that way too, that's what he told me on the phone yesterday. Have fun Jeff and good luck all!!!

Have fun Jeff and good luck all!!! Definitely warmer than that here, but still cold for us....and it's snowing. You guys wouldn't call it snow though. I'm from Texas but lived in the mountains of New Mexico for 15yrs so I do know what snow is. I know it's pretty to look at and a b***h to deal with. Barely accumulating here, but listening to everybody you would think there is 3ft on the ground. Pretty comical really. I have alerted the mail carrier of the packages that will be arriving and will be on the look out. Arrival pics will start later today. |

I would like to clear something up. It was just brought to my attention that someone thought I was running the 1/43 event in March at Bear Creek. Ninja added that announcement to the Winter Nationals sign up page for some reason. So in case there are others that are thinking the same....I am not running that event. The 1/43 MODERATOR will need to be contacted in the 1/43 drag thread for info. and questions pertaining to that event. Bear Creek is HO only. Thanks.

The 143 race was added as a heads-up announcement to those who are running 143 cars. Would have been clearer had I gotten the dates correct, that this is an event separate and apart from Winter Nationals. Winter National kicks off next week. 143 event not to be held until April, more details in a week or so. |
