Race 8 TGM's "Lab Rat" is going to try and take down sjracer's #1 qualifier Corvette. I hear Elton John's Rocket Man playing somewhere. That car is going to be tough to beat today, but we have had a few upsets today. TGM trees sjracer and improves his time, but no reward. Sjracer runs the best et of the day and lowers the track record to take the win. A blistering .860et to a losing 1.132et.
Race 9 Darius needs a holeshot to get around dave's Chevelle and he gets it. It ends up being enough to turn on the win light first. Holeshot win goes to the GTX and he runs his best et of Elims. as well. 1.083et beats a quicker 1.080et.
Race 10 Dave632 still has another car up his sleeve.......err I mean...another car in the game. He and sjracer leave .002 apart....sjracer pulls out to 3 car length lead then deslots again down track and slides through the traps, but dave has already gone around him. Win goes to the Vega. 1.049et to 1.096et.
Race 11 Mike needs a good light and his driver nails it....006 from perfect. Oh no.....the Yenko goes into tire shake and deslots at 150'. Darius Challenger goes by and clocks his best et of eliminations. .983et to a deslot.
Semi Finals are set!! We will be rolling with it here in a minute. Stay tuned....it's going to be a good one!!

Thought I might showcase this car a little. It has been a staple of the Street and Pro Street classes over the years. TGM2054's "Lab Rat". One of my favorites.

Yea I know.....sorry about that. You know we normally get started early...blame mother nature. Tomorrow will be an earlier start and a full day of action. Sj's blue Corvette is always a rocketship. If the black one can keep the shake under control, he may be racing himself in the final! The Tennessee racers are going to have something to say about that though. Thanks for the compliment. Jeff. Actually I'm pretty proud of that car, it's done well today,it's still in its street class trim, 14 ohms and all! Good luck to the semi finalist and everybody for the rest of the race!

Race12 Darius pretty much needs a miracle and it doesn't materialize. Sjracer takes his time and toys with the GTX like a cat with a mouse. Lowers the track record yet again with a scorching .842et to a slowing 1.181et. Sjracer is going to the Finals. Race 13 This was a good race. They are close together at the hit. Darius Challenger pulls out to 4 car lengths on dave's Vega and stays there. He runs his best et of Eliminations again to get the win and go to the Finals. .946et to a .999et. The Finals are set!! Sjracer's Corvette vs Darius Challenger coming up!!

Pro Street Finals The stage is set....the number 1 and number 3 qualifiers are in the Finals. Who's it gonna be.....lol. I think we all know who it's going to be so no need for suspense. Darius gets out first, but that's only because sjracer wants it that way. He drives around the Challenger, pulls out to about 6 and the lead stays that way all the way through the lights. Sjracer takes the win and the crown. Now this sounds like a broken record....he lowers the track record for the last time. For this race anyway. .830et to a .952et.

That's a wrap for today. The temperatures warmed up enough today for the ice and snow to thaw, so I expect to have my cuzzo Eagle and his production crew here tomorrow for even more racing coverage. Thanks all for the good word. Had a blast today running the cars as always. Congrats to sjracer on his Pro Street win!! We will start bright and early tomorrow.
