Been seeing references to chassis being stiff or not stiff enough. Mostly about extreme type builds. Also reference to Wizard chassis being used. I know G3's could be had in variable degrees of hardness, but have ever noticed this with Wizard.
IMO, the stiffness of either of these chassis pales in comparison to that of the DeCosmo T Chassis. Have 2 of their "low flex" chassis (not their rigid one). Both are the only chassis I have that need a tool to pry apart......... fingers work on everything else for me. T chassis use Wizard motor mags, G3 traction mags, Slottech pick-up shoes, and brush tubes. They are expensive compared to all others ! Chassis was $20.- , bulkhead $10.- a number of years ago. And that is just for the 2 plastic pieces of chassis. But, if stiff is what is wanted...... no other chassis I know of comes close !

Peter I have some of the standard BSRT chassis and their performance, as far as extreme drag racing is concerned, is not as good as the stiff and super stiff chassis. Don't really know why but it must have something to do with flex or chassis bend under extreme magnet forces.
