Click on Forum above to enter Nitro SlotsAll, In the next week Nitro Slots will under go a make over to restore it back to it's roots which is "HO Drag Racing" . Cordell still owns this site and the NTRA. I'm helping him out as his time is needed elsewhere right now. I haven't been involved with this site lately however I did see on a social media site negative comments about this site and some of its members. Like many, this is an outlet for me to forget about the day to day BS we already deal with. Going forward I ask you all to keep the BS to a minimum. - If you didn't like your results or if you feel your car was ruined at a race then please take it up behind the scenes with the race master and Cordell. You have a right to be upset over a damage car however we all take risks when we send our cars out. I truly believe that no race master is out to fix results by ruining ones car(s).
- Rules are set for 2015. If you'd like to see a change then put in a request with Cordell so that it can be revisited when rules are reviewed for next year.
- Healthy debate is welcomed, remember this is a hobby..... yes I still play with little toy cars too. Not many do anymore and that is what attracted us all to the NTRA.
As I mentioned above, this site is undergoing a "make over" so please excuse the dust during the remodeling phase.

Not sure if you are aware, but for the people that use the mobile forum your link appears white and is almost invisable. If no one had mentioned there being a link i wouldnt have seen it.
Hope it helps

I too am back now to "normal" life and Cooper and I will be back in action. If all goes as planned we will have a new track and facility by October. Great to see Sam back in the saddle and hope all is ok with Cordell, both have been instrumental since I first stumble across the site way back when. The only thing that I can see being an issue is the NTRA classing itself to death. It is the main reason commercial raceways struggle as rules and classes change too often. Technology within slots is not changing that fast so writing rules and being consistent with them year after year is key. Also no need for multiple classes that basically step on themselves. Successful 1/24 programs are seeing a better return by having say 10-12 divisions, but only running about 5-8 throughout the season. Classify some as "premier"classes and then cycle the others every other year to change it up. Also nothing kills a class quicker than technology and a lack of parts supply to back it up. If you have 12 potential participants, but 2-3 are the only ones with the skill set to produce the required parts, then that is all you will ultimately have. There are some very creative people here, but if 50% of the competitors do not even have their own track, we are tilting the odds the wrong way (at least for now).
Sorry to drift in the end.
Sam is right though there are a lot of really good people, participants and builders missing. That being said entries still look fairly healthy. TO build anything right you need look at it as a marathon and not a sprint. Stopping to take a break to confirm the objective is a great move. We are all tinkerers and obviously enthusiasts, but the people are what make or break this hobby.
Cannot wait to get towards 2016!

I saw this post from over a year ago and I thought it was a good one. I think Nitro slots has moved in the right direction recently. Personally I was completely turned off by some of the rules etc. that were in effect in the past. Items that effect performance or cost should be the only ones considered.

I think the new Rookie class that was introduced at some of the recent races is a good idea and will help to bring new racers into the group. It is hard to compete against some of the highly experienced racers who have their own tracks etc. I plan on having 2 Rookie classes at my next event, one for pancake and one for inline.

Was once a member of NITRO SLOTS . About 6 years back , I tried logging on and found that no matter what I did I couldn't log on . Now I don't even remember my names or password . Also since , I went thru a identity theft that left my computer crashed .
There is a lot of valuable information on this site that I'd use with my HO Drag Racing hobby .
If you could e-mail me how to re-establish membership or to re-register , I would appreciate it .
