Okay second attempt, FAIL. This time sprayed plenty of both with no success. The film made no attempt to dissolve at all. The water was even 3 degrees hotter. Hmmmm.....back to the drawing board.
Okay sent vendor an email about my attempts and what I did. Let's see what the pro's say.

Sure hope I here from the film maker today. I would like to keep moving on this project. So I think will keep doing trial an error. I might get lucky and figure it out by accident. I have created 6 new patterns for the hydro dipping. IMHO creating your own patterns and fitting to object being dipped will be more to scale.

Hey Eagle, A friend of mine owns a 4wheeler shop and they do water transfer there, on a larger scale of course. But, he may be able to answer your questions. If you would like i can PM you his business number.
I know some of the prints for this stuff is really too large scale, but one thing i think could really take off for it is the chrome films, that would work really great on motors and exhaust ect. ect.
Just my .02

After reviewing everything I have been doing with hydro dipping it is time to change. I bought a new HVLP gun. I have improved my hydro dipping station with custom (I made from piano wire & brass, plastic) water dam's. These keep the film in place, as the air pressure when spraying activator will move it all over the place. Today is test day.
