Thanks Kiwi - I had seen their auctions and may bid if I get too far into a pinch, just the pricing is getting a little unrealistic.

I would count on Hairy Canary being back at it when the time is right. I think Rick does this more as a hobby than a business and as all of you probably know, even your hobbies can start consuming all of your spare time. A break can help recharge your batteries and can be a good thing for when you do return. I'd expect Rick to be back at it asap with the same great bodies as well as new ones. I picked up an AWB GTO body at the last proxy event that Hairy Canary donated that I never knew existed, I can't wait to get that one finished.

Sam, I received one of Ricks fantastic 65 GTO's. I had a blue 65 GTO as my first car in 11th grade. I had to work
so hard that summer to pay for it I didn't get to drive much, those were the days.

Well most of the auctions have ended on EBAY for those hairy canary bodies, and as a loser in all of them with one body going for over 30 bucks its obvious that this hobby is in desperate need of a vendor for resin bodies. I am in the slow process of learning how to make my own but in the mean time I'm pleading with the resin masters of the world for more stuff. I know that it was a member of this site that sold the bodies and he made a killing so it is clear there is a market for these bodies, although my bet is no one outside our website community got within sniffing distance of those babies. Anywho, there are a couple let and I'm gonna try and nab them but I just can't come off of 30 bucks for one body. My wife would rightfully kill me.

Rick, I'll have to get in touch with Gary to get some Brutus decals. You did an amazing job on this body.

Sam Thanks but I can't take all the credit for the GTO. I hooked up with a freind of Gary's from Wisconsin. Doug has been helping me on some masters. I been sending him some body blanks and he has been re working them and I have been casting them. It's been mostly AWB stuff and some Super Stock. He does a great job. Then Gary has been trying to do the decals for the various body's. Kdog got to meet them at one of the shows. Both Gary and Doug do some great work. Thanks again Rick
