DCU had a great turn out today with 44 entries in Bracket! After Bracket racing it was an open track for test and tune for the upcoming series. I can tell the MM/PS class will be a battle this year after watching some impressive laps made by Dan and newcomer John B. There was also some talk heard in the pits of another drag strip coming to town next year. It's always good to hear of another HO Dragstrip going up.

with the advent of the AW drag sets and the availablity of affordable stand alone timing systems, I am hoping more folks find the time to have tracks of their own.
continuous rail custom tracks might be a bit prohibitive, but the rail can be bought and sectional trck updated.
as long as folks realize it will be permanent.
I hope you do get more drag tracks in your area.
mentoring folks teetering on the edge is a positive.
