Drag City USA is prepped and ready to go. Temps are in the sixties with a chance of showers later. That's ok folks because we are racing in the basement! no chance of a rain out.
We had a small turn out at this event with only 2-Funny Cars, 5-Top Fuel and 7- MM/PS. Without further ado, let's go racing!

Some of the cars were lifting at the hit. We made adjustments as best as possible. More adjustments were made after qualifying. The biggest thing as making sure that the braids on the pick up shoes ride flat.

first race of round 2. Jeff's Mav TV vs. Nosub's Fram.
Jeff takes his beautiful wedge to the finals running a .7451. Nosub's driver has been fired.
Up next we have Nosub's Aaron's dragster making a bye run into the final.
Nothing to lose here. Nosub lays down an outstanding .7046 @ 20.23 mph

Modern Top Fuel Final
Unfortunately I did not get a starting line shot of the pair.
Nosub's new driver kills the tree with a perfect R/T. Jeff was late and didn't have the real estate to catch the Aaron's funded car.

Don't blink folks, We are headed straight to the finals.
Eagle lays down another good pass! Jeff's team was trying to work the bugs out on his Snap On FC after qualifying but had no luck, looking at his ET I'd say the car is possessed.

Eagle vs. Alex Dale Racing
ambers light up and they both take off before the green. Eagle escaped a near disasterous run as ADR jumped a little earlier.

Jeff's Firebird vs. Eagle's Neon
Hands down the best race of the day, Eagle gets into the .3's but Jeff gets him on a hole shot. The win margin was only .0006!!!!!!

That wraps up this weekend events. Thanks to Rick and Diane for hosting this event. Thanks to all the racers for allowing us to run their cars. We had a great time.
