I think I have several cars that fit the MM Pro Stock and would be willing to match race them. Are these still the rules: Inline chassis, 2.5 ohm minimum arm, hard body, any poly mag? Mine are all Chevy's however.......  I do not have any fast stock 4 gear cars, I sold any cars that could not run under 1 second on my track. I do have one modified one that runs good. |

Marz4545, the Kiwi cars all run NTRA Nostalgia funny car rules. See the "2016 race rules" link towards the top of this page. Any Dragsters will be running NTRA Econo comp rules. Pics of the cars coming soon.

I should add that these rules were updated last year for our local program to allow the use of Vipers 2.4 - 2.6 ohm armature. Also for those that don't use the Super G stuff, you can now twist your com's to your hearts content |

I do have a 4 gear dragster but it is a pig, the track ambulance beats it . I will take a look at it and see if there is any hope. In case you thought I was kidding here is a pix of that race:  |

Good that will make for a Ford vs Chevy match race. That tradition goes back almost 100 years now.
I picked a 69 Chevy Camaro for that race, it should give a good account for itself.

**EVENT UPDATE**
Match Race line up on page 1 of this thread has been updated. The Kiwi cars have formally posted their challenges. There are (7).........count'em.........(7) open challenges as it stands right now! Oh yea!!
Calling all stock 4 gear builders on the forum!! If you haven't raced with us before, now is the perfect time to get your feet wet with proxy racing. Just get a stock 4 gear set up and send it in. Race address will be posted before event. If you have any questions...just ask. Some one will help you. So.......who's gonna be the first to step up and accept a Kiwi challenge. There are (3) Funny Cars, (2) Top Fuel, and (1) Kiwi Farm Truck. Best 2 out of 3 @ 18v.
These cars are looking mean! Forum racers have their work cut out for themselves. Thank you to all the New Zealand racers for being a part of the event!

I tore apart my FED Jeff. It's a mess now but will be ready in time. Reworking the rear gear configuration. I'll post pics when I'm done.

Putting new floors in my house. Had to get a few priorities out of the way so I can focus on cars and the upcoming race. Starting on my cars this week and have a couple of things I want to do to the track as well. Looking forward to running the FEDs!

****26 DAYS TILL PRO STREET OUTLAWS 3****
We are now within a month of the race......that's roughly 2 weeks of tuning! There is going to be some tough competition for PSO list positions and in the shark pool.
Still need spots filled against the Kiwi racers!! There are 7 racers from waaaaay down south that have sent cars to show they are the fastest 4 gears in the southern OR northern hemispheres! If their challenges are not accepted, then I guess that pretty much proves that they are. I know there are 7 cars out there that can be made race ready and meet the challenges. Any takers....................................
All the fun starts September 9th! Car arrivals at Bear Creek Dragway no later than Thursday September 8. Race address will be posted by the end of the week. Looking forward to the event!!

OK Mac....so you are calling out Nosubfor3 for the #5 "Gatekeeper" spot. It has been documented and you are the only one so far. If any other cars show up that want a shot at #5 then I will have a run off to see who gets that opportunity. Good luck and welcome to the NTRA PSO "shark list". Well its sad to say after losing two spots the Nomad is no longer. But don't grieve to long fellow sloters.There is new sound of thunder on the horizon. Blue Silk??......well I'm definitely curious so I will stay tuned . I went ahead and changed your car name to Blue Silk on the list. Looking forward to seeing what you've got going. This is what I like about this class and was hoping would happen. Everyone stepping up their game for "the spot"!
