Yep....just like the real world in 1/1. No track is the same and they also have weather conditions to deal with. At least we dont have to deal with that variable too...lol. I enjoy that part of proxy racing a lot. It is a challenge to get the set up right. Dave you and I have Max Trax and the distances are about the same. Power supplies and timing systems are different. Time is time but you have more amps available. Times still should be pretty close. When comparing tracks I find that times may be off but are usually relative to one another and consistent. I pay close attention to the pick up shoes, clean tires, and clean track for all cars that go down the track here. I want everyone to run their best. Unfortunately the curse of the box can sometimes have a bad effect on performance. I remember the first proxy race that I ran here. I was mailing back the cars and I had them all packaged up nice and tight. Carried them into the Post Office in a bigger box and took them out one by one and set them on the counter as the lady checked them in. She stacked them nice and neat on a shelf next to her. I paid the postage and as I was turning to leave, she picked them all up at once in both arms and dumped them down a chute behind her. I heard them tumble all the way to the bottom. That is the curse of the box. From then on I pack my cars tight and in the middle of the box. Thanks guys for participating. Gonna be fun!

When mailing cars keep in mind that Monday September 5 is Labor Day and Post Offices will be closed. Seems like a holiday screws them up for a couple of days so allow for that. Once again cars need to be here by Thursday September 8. Thanks Sam, I forgot about that.
Also still needing to fill two N.Z. T/F challenges.

Jeff if Sam is up to a grudge match. I would like to race his N/FC that beat me in the finials in New Zealand. This race has been added to Match Race list at #10.

Full crew of cars now ready for the upcoming race. For the Pro street outlaws Farm truck has been joined by the Rebel 57 Chevy and the yellow Canary 55 Chevy. Farm truck will run any list matches and the other 2 are available for challenges. Wont say which is quickest but the yellow 55 was the fastest hitting 24 mph at 18V which really surprised me. Open to any challenge matches in OPS. The late model Camaro will run the MMPS challenge race. Will be shipping out this coming Wed. What is shipping address?

A substitution has been made in the MMPS match race. The green and white 55 Chevy is going to run instead of the Silver Camaro. Seems to have been some sabotage recently and the 55 will take the Camaros place. At 20V this car is fast at 26V it is insane.

sorry to see you're not able to make it Mac. Please note that there are 2 other PSO events scheduled for later this year that you're more than welcome to attend, if you're up for it.

Just to cause some worry for the upcoming MMPS match race cars. Here is the time the 55 Chevy convertible ran at 18V. Note driver has no helmet but he also has no brains so it does not matter. Cars are being packed up today and will ship out tomorrow.

The Rebel 57 Chevy is a back up car for the Farm truck in case the truck blows up. I am open for any OPS match races with this car. If there are no takers match race it against the FARM TRUCK.
