With all the great detail ideas many of us have, does anybody have ideas how to mold chin spoilers. What and how could be used.

Not sure if this is helpful or what your looking for. This is how I do chin spoilers when I'm creating a master to cast. I use JB Weld and basically glob it onto a piece of paper (wax paper works better, doesn't stick) and place the bodies nose on top of it. I then take a tooth pick and do some rough contouring while the JBW is still soft. Once it sets up, finish contouring to your liking. I don't recommend using JB Weld on a race body. I dropped this Chevy II which chipped off part of the chin spoiler.

Thanks Sam. It's a start. Wow 51 views and only one response. Wondering what this builder uses.

Great tip Sam. I use JB Weld quite a bit in my building. Will definitely be trying this one out. Very interested in the black car! Is that a current project......Impala.....Biscayne?? Vince I have used sheet styrene to fabricate some spoilers that I've built. I would cut into strip the size needed. Then it can be manipulated into a rough shape just by bending several times and glued in place. Some very focused heat can also be used carefully to shape as well. I use super glue to mount initially then finish with epoxy. Final shaping with sanding stick. I don't have any examples to show at this time.
