alright boys and girls qualifying is done and it's time to do battle. Tonight's eliminations will consist of Super Stock, Nostalgia Pro Stock and Day 1 of Pro Street Outlaws. Tomorrow we will have Door Slammer eliminations proceeded by day 2 of Pro Street Outlaws. It's been a beautiful day in the "Mile High" state with unseasonably warm weather for this time of year with temps reaching 80 deg. and no moisture. It would have been nice to get out and enjoy the weaather today however the racing action was just as hot in the dungeon. Grab a cool one, sit back and enjoy the show.

Congrats to the TQs.
AS we all know these cars have a mind of their own. The red 67 Vette I sent in varied .2 in ET and 5 mph in speed and that was on the last 6 passes in testing??? Surprised the wheelie car did that well had to weigh the front quite a bit to hold it down so it could make it down the track. Wonder if it popped any wheelies! Even with the weight when it hooked well it would pop up.
Looking forward to the racing action.

Round 1 Super StockDave gets a bye run with his Nova. Dave had a little bit of wheel hop slowing from his qualifying number. Off to round 2 for this bowtie.   Coming to the line; Nosub's red Chevelle vs. JJ's Cougar.

Although JJ's driver did his job on the tree.... Nosub's skinny tire Chevelle was a little too much for the cat to handle and advances to Round 2. I was rooting for you JJ. My first car was a 68 Cougar.

Kiwi has problems early on and can't recover. His Torino de-slotted two times and some how found it's way back in the slot powering across the finish line. Dave's VW is cool to watch. This thing brought the wheels up at the hit came down and went back up before settling down and making a great pass.
Up next coming to the line we have Nosub's Black Chevelle vs. JJ's Fairlane

Nosub means business taking down the Ford with a 1.3133 @ 10.98 mph to JJ's 1.9443 @ 7.03 mph
Up next we have Round 2 action. Here are the cars that have advanced.
Nosub Black and Red Chevelle's and Dave632's VW and Nova.

Nosub gets the hole shot however the bug is quick down low and has a lead at the 60' mark. As they approach mid track things have evened out and from there the big Chevy power really starts to kick in. The VW put on a show today but came up a little short.
The finals are set!!! Nosub's Black Chevelle will take on Dave's Nova
