Bummer they did not race this week. Decided to team up and move up the ladder rather than get stuck at the bottom of the list racing each other. They will race eventually.

Very nicely done! Is either one going to be at the next list race? I have not watched the latest episode of Street Outlaws but it sure seems they are all spending lots O cash on their cars. Looks like a pro mod of some sort will be the only competitive cars on their list soon. I remember when I went from a back half car to a full pro built chassis car, the difference was huge. Same motor, tranny, rear ratio. The difference was over a second and almost 20 mph in speed in the 1/8th.

they will not be at the list race, these are 4G's.
It's pretty crazy how much their willing to spend to be #1. I'm glad we settled on a cheap build for the PSO class.
I agree Jeff, I wanted to see them race last night. There are some crazy quick cars that want on that list. Boosted and Dominator will most likely get bumped soon.

To bad those would look great running in the PSO class races. I will try to come up with something that looks like one of the cars on the show for the PSO class racing. The farm truck will be one of the ones I will be racing, I will see if I can come up with a second car. You guys are better at the body work than I am, I can make em run, even with the full size cars I built my own engines always, but I always left the body work to others even with my 1/1 cars. I agree that boosted and dominator will soon be gone from the show. Full chassis cars only with big tires will be left. To much of a handicap giving away all that weight. My Beretta weighed 2040 lbs without me in it which was about 750 lbs lighter than the back half car it replaced.

Man those cars look great. I watched the season wrap up last week and Chief said he was going to go back to a metal bodied street based car. He said the pro mod thing was getting out of control and wants their list to go back to it's roots. I agree with him, pro mods have no place on the street in my opinion. I like good old fashioned Detroit steel.

I agree that a pro mod is no street car but those back half cars are also very far from a street car. Every one trailers their cars to the so called street race and none of them would last very long driving them on the street. The only one that was slightly street was the Farm Truck as he did drive it on the street some. I drove my Beretta on the street in my neighborhood a little but that sure did not make it a street car... I will still watch the show as I have always been a drag racer and NHRA, which I never watch any more, has long gotten away from it's roots but calling those cars anything "street" is a joke.

Totally agree with you Dave. Back in my "street racing days" if you had a car that could get into the 10's, it was barely street able. Now you can buy cars that get into the 10's off the showroom floor and use them as your daily driver. Man how electronics have changed things.

Yes, Electronic computer controlled fuel injection is one of the good things that came out of all the legislation that was heaped on the auto industry. If I was running a 1/1 street race it would be worlds different from what is called a street car on todays drag strips. First and foremost would be no big hood scoops or blowers blocking your vision. I remember when I was at the strip and I had to run in the left lane all I could see was the top bulb on the tree besides the stage lights, but that would have been a tough thing to have on the street as visibility was bad toward the right front area. Fortunately I ran heads up so that was all that was needed but I always preferred the right lane for that reason. Next would be full interiors with all normal creature comforts and driving needs and a bunch of other rules that would eliminate 99.9% of the cars running in so called "street race" at the track.
