Looks like a flying car without enough wings, what happened? I have rarely seen a car go down the track and leave it like that. Did it hit something? I am working on the anything goes pancake car. It keeps flinging tires off and it tore some old sillifoams up. Who makes some good ones, I remember Eagle used to make them but they are not on his web site anymore? I ordered a set from someone on E bay and will give them a try. Never did figure out what happened to cause that departure from gravity. The crash itself bent the front and rear axles, but the wheels and gears turned freely when I picked it up. Go figure?? I'm at a loss for big dia. silly foam tires. Eagle was the only one that was making them in the bigger diameter and I don't think he is doing that anymore. I am going to be experimenting with some slip ons, but not sure they are going to hold up. I have some Superslicks coming this week. Wizzard has silly foams but they are small diameter.

Amazing the car was able to survive that crash. I have purchased some led light to be installed above each of my sensors, currently use 600 watts of track lights, and there will be bridges across all those points. That was the most spectacular HO drag racing accident I have ever seen. I was at a 1/1 race when a dragster did a huge wheelie lifted off the ground did a spiral in the air and then crashed. We were at the end of the track when it happened and the driver was shaking his hand, only injury was a broken finger. Amazing after a crash like that. I found some silicon foam tires on E bay which measure .456. www.ebay.com/itm/152325663732?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITThere were some slightly bigger at .464 but they were in white. I may try a set of those if these work out.

After I posted I went looking myself. Found some others, but nothing over .475. I am currently running .615 Eagle Racing silli foams on both FED's. I have never run anything smaller than .580. Might try making my own just for these cars.......only other thing I need is TIME. Got several irons in the fire right now. I know you have prior history in electronics. Are you building your own to go in the bridges? I have all of the specs for emitter, resistors, and power supply to feed them to scratch build some. They have been flawless for over a year now and more powerful than Trackmates. It allows for more height on the gantry or bridge. Got all the stuff from a company named Digikey. Let me know if you want the info. Page 26 of the Bear Creek Dragway thread has a picture. Thanks for that link.

I found some LEDS that come in strips ready to go, just need a 12V supply. I have used Digikey for some electronics in the past. If what I bought works out I will pass on the info as the price was reasonable.

Yes phone chargers are what I use as well. Mine are IR emitters....not regular LED's.

on the list Clyde. Eagle will send out information through private message early next month with details.
Nosub, PSO is only list racing. There is not an elimination race for this class at this race.

Looks like we will have a full PSO list of 10 racers for this event, should make for a lot of challenges. Nice to see.

HAPPY NEW RACING YEAR!! 2017 SEASON BEGINS TODAY JAN 1!! OH YEAH!!
Blacktop Raceway Classic Bracket Race is now less than a month away.....26 days to be exact. Less than that in tuning time. Remember cars need to arrive by Thursday Jan. 26. The fun begins on Friday Jan. 27. Still plenty of time to enter and get some cars ready. All that is needed for the Bracket race is a consistent car at 20v........any chassis.....any build (drag type bodies, muscles cars, etc. preferred but not required). Perfect opportunity for the new racer. No worries if you don't understand, we will help you. Also on the schedule is the #6 running of the Pro Street Outlaws. I think there are still a few spots open on the (10) car list. Anybody can take a shot at the list so give it a try! It has been a real battle in the top 5 at every race. I'm sure this time will be no different. Looking forward to seeing all the cars!!

Happy new racing year to all. Looing forward to this years racing and I think we will have a full 10 car list after this race. This will be my first ever bracket race, I was racemaster for one but never ran in one. Even with the 1\1 cars my bracket racing was very limited. Not much prep needed for a bracket car, just try to find one that is consistent which is not as easy as it sounds. I have tested several with limited results, they all seem to run quicker the more runs I make with them. My match cars are ready and I have not touched the PSO list car.
