Myself and Ham1200 took the trek over the hill to Moonshine Park Raceway. Moonshine Park is a full scale quarter mile. Dual 10 amp 30 volt power supplies and Parma controllers. The boys race Tjet, 4gear, 3gear, Inline, Tintop(4gear with diecast bodies)all at 18 volts and 4gear Top Fuel at 20 volts. And an open Inline class at 20 volts. Rules are very similar to NTRA rules. The guys have a great selection of cars and some of the fields have lots of entries. It was a great night racing and exchanging tuning tips and general banter!! The guys are getting faster and faster. Ham1200 made it to a final in 3gear and I managed a record in 20 volt inline and equaled the 18 volt stock inline record. Big thanks to Grant for hosting. Shaun and I enjoyed a great night of racing.

Looks like a blast. From the shout that went up after the race it must have been close. How far was the "over the hill" trip?

One hour drive. In a couple of weeks we will be going over to "Sandfly Alley", another HO drag strip. Also one hours drive away.

That also makes me jealous as I do not have any other slot car race tracks nearby. On a good note my grandsons have suddenly taken a big interest in making their HO cars quicker and faster.
