Smoky Mountain Nationals
Drag Event April 21-23th, 2017
Here are the rules for all 4 classes that will be run in April:
All classes will run at 20V, max 4 cars per class.
Independent front wheels are legal in all classes
AFX Pro Street Outlaw.
AFX magna-traction and non magna-traction cars with up to 2 traction magnets, Any factory arm
including mean green etc. 5.5 ohm minimum, any wheel tire combo, any ceramic motor mags including dash, braid and shunts allowed.
Hard plastic or resin bodies only all classes. Wheelie bars OK in all classes.
2.5 OHM inline modified:
Any inline chassis running a hard plastic or resin body, no lexan. Ceramic or Polymer motor or traction magnets, ANY tire or gear, wheelie bars, braid and shunts allowed. Bodies must be mounted solidly in this class as speeds will hit 30+ mph.
AW/AFX Super Stock:
14 OHM arm with or without magna-traction, any wheel tire combo. T jets will also be allowed to run in this class with a minimum 14 ohm arm and any size tires they want, 14 tooth pinion allowed in a T Jet. Traction magnets will be allowed on all these cars since some already come with them. Wheelie bars are an option since they stabilize the cars quite a bit and avoid de slots most of the time. Braid and shunts allowed.
Inline Super Stock:
Any stock production Inline 6 ohm or higher, ceramic motor and traction magnet, chassis, no specialty chassis, BSRT/Wizzard,Viper etc. Any slip on tire or wheel, wheelie bars allowed. Hard plastic or resin bodies only. Any gears allowed. Braid and shunts allowed.
List races; both 3 & 4 gear list races will be held at this race. Callouts to be made on the callout list. Sorry no challenge races this time as there will be a lot of races to run.
Best appearing cars must race in one of the classes, Nick to decide winner, Nick requests a red,white and blue theme but it is not a necessity.
