Thanks Sam....I'm not sure if you saw, but I updated the PSO list and created a 4 Gear Outlaw list and posted both on page 3 of the Saturday thread. I also posted each list on the PSO Official Call Out thread and the 4 Gear Outlaw thread next to that one....FYI.

Robert congrats on taking the bike match race again. Jeff we may as well make it #3 at my race as even though I said no match races earlier due to all the events at my race. No doubt I was a little lucky today as those cars are extremely close. I must say that the 2 30 amp power supplies on my track will make a huge difference as these cars draw a lot of power. Both dragsters will run a lot quicker and faster, mine was in the mid 4s and mid 30 MPH range when testing here and I was getting wheelspin off the line which most likely helps save the gears. Just a little tire cleaning with a damp cloth was worth about .03-.05. JJ congrats on your 2.5 wins, Gymi had some bad luck there with 2 deslots. 2.5 super comp will be a full class at the next race. I must say that as the speeds increase how the tires are glued to the rim starts to become very important. I would recommend silifoams where they are allowed and in the unlimiteds they are a necessity. I found nothing else that will hold up when speeds go over 40 mph. Dave I will send my FED to you for your race. If you get a chance to run it ok...if not ok too. You are correct on the power supplies. Mine drops in ET when both cars run versus just one with those builds. I am very aware of the difference power supplies can make. I have never seen it make such a difference before here though. Not real sure why that is this time. Maybe it's the Max Trax with it's bigger rail?? I have run the unlimited class here several times and it hasn't made that much difference as it did this weekend. Kinda bugging me as to what is different. I will not be upgrading to a 20amp or 30amp anytime soon, they are just too expensive for the budget right now. But there are several good deals on another 10amp and that I can probably do. That will help and gives me 10amps per lane.

Yes as resistance goes down current goes up. With the low ohm armatures current will spike. I bet your dragster runs mid 4s at well over 30 mph at the Smokey's. Surely understand the cost issue now that I am retired I surely have to be more careful. 10 amps per lane will definitely help. When I switched from 10-30 the unlimiteds picked up over 10 mph. Even the 6 ohm cars improved, especially in the early part of the run when current draw is highest. When I was racing full scale I remember having to bite the bullet buying a set of 17.5x34" drag slicks, ouch. They must cost a lot more now. I used to have broken parts trophy case with broken pistons, valves, etc. One of my friends used to call his the wall of shame..
