Well possibly Gas Monkey should stick to building low riders and leave the Drag Racing to the 405.....

I loved watching Chief kick Richards a$$! I hate that guy and Gas Monkey.....he is a true pos. The only one I ever liked was Aaron. Really good to see The Crow reborn too! Way to go 405.

it is good to see the crow back. I'm not sure why chief was so upset, everyone knows Richard never races. Hell Richard didn't even get that a slower ET can still win a drag race! I found that amusing. I feel bad for Alex Laughlin because he is a way better driver than he performed on the show. Either Farm truck is one hell of a driver or Aaron is not as good a driver as advertised. I think FT could of better his lap time on the road course if he hadn't broke the weld on the axle. Maybe it was the topper keeping the Farm Bird planted? Alright fellas, who's going to be the first to make a Farm Bird slot car?

Watched that last night after I got home from a pool match. Had to see the finish as it was late. Richard is a real Weenie to put it nicely. Brings in an outside pro building team and pro driver, uses a late model body after after they agreed on 68-73 model years. I don't think that made much difference as all they used was the roof and rear quarters so they could call it a street car? ? Show me where a roof and rear quarter makes you a street car. I don't know if Richard ever said he was going to drive himself but he sure was a coward about trying it even with some instruction. You could not have kept me out of that car with a crowbar. He also showed no knowledge about drag racing when he could not figure out how a quicker ET could lose a race. Boy that clown must have lots o bucks to spend 75K for a set of shocks!!!! Comes rolling in in a pro rig with all the trimmins, pro driver and a pro crew vs the 405 locals. Boy there must be huge profit in building custom cars on TV. That race just shows that knowledge is key. The guys from Street Outlaw know how to get down lousy tracks, something I never could figure out, and the pros did not. Chief also showed them the way with better reactions. I was sure pulling for the street guys all the way. Aaron however seems like a cool guy but he does not know much about drag cars.

Never been a fan of Richard Rawlings, how Aaron stayed around that guy for so long is beyond me. I loved seeing those guys put that Pontiac together in eight days and put all that money on the trailer. I liked how Chief gave R.R. the cold shoulder, he deserves no respect.

I do not know the actual ratings but I am sure the Street Outlaws shows ratings are much better than the NHRA drag racing shows.

I think Aaron was planning on leaving Gas Monkey, but this dog and pony show sealed the deal. It showed Rawlings for the narcissistic dick he really is. And I don't believe Aaron wanted to be associated with what he was planning with that race car. Aaron comes across as a decent cat and didn't want to sully his name being involved with that Challenger build. I think it was the straw that broke the "monkeys" back.

What a shocker that was. Did Doc forget to turn the N20 on again? A 706 in a light weight chassis vs a 468??, back half El Camino made from discarded parts is about a 100-1 shot. Even without the nitrous I would have bet on the Monte Carlo. I think it made over 1000 hp to the wheels on motor alone when they dyno'd the Monte which should have been enough for a win even without the juice.
The tight converter you have to run when running N20 will kill performance on motor however even with a big motor.
I remember dynoing my 68 Camaro which had 2 stages on it and the 2nd kit hardly added 50 hp because it blew thru
the converter so bad. You have to use a converter either for nitrous or without it. A compromise does not work well
for either.
