Nitro Slots gets a mention in the May 2017 issue of Slot Car Magazine...
Okay, it's a relatively brief mention - along with NTRA - in a brief overview of HO drag racing, a one-page snippet that follows a review of the Georgia Shaker Thunderbolt from the latest Auto World "Legends of the Quarter Mile" release. The two Super Stockers in the review article then swapped the photo booth for full-on competition - making the trip to Tennessee for the Smoky Mountain Spring Nationals... Cars are to raced, after all
I really enjoyed writing the two pieces. The idea and deadline for the one-page overview was rather last-minute, so special thanks go to Dave (dave632) for pics & info and to Sam (SKR) for some pics of his wonderful 660 Slots cars. I hope I presented the HO slot car scene in a good light.
