Something different, sounds good, I will send some cars. A manufacturers challenge!! I have many different stock Inline cars that run well. I will send several different types. My 4G stock selection is almost nil however but I will find or make something. The Nomad will be there to defend also.

My 4G stock selection is almost nil however but I will find or make something. The Nomad will be there to defend also. The Kiwi racers will be sending some cars again to match up with NTRA racers. They run stock 4 gears and took the crown back to New Zealand last year. We've got to get it back! I remember the stock inlines that were sent to the Winter Nationals. They were fast and impressive. The Manufacturers Challenge has been run here before, but a long time ago. I will be posting more details in the next day or so. Look forward to seeing you there.

Looking forward to the event. Plenty of Inlines for the race. 4 gear stock is another matter. I will come up with something however. How is the new timing system coming along?

Starting on it this week. I had to wait till after I was done tuning for your race before tearing it down. Last weekend was a flooring project and now it is track time!! Sam asked about it as well. I might have a few questions, but it doesn't look too complicated to install or operate. Thanks for asking.

I just installed a set of steps from my rear deck, installed 3 new windows in the rear of the house, (whoever built the house had put up a block wall installed the windows nailing them into the block, then proceeded to bury them behind the stone exterior), and built a custom screen door for the screen room. Now back to some fun projects.
The wiring etc. for the Trakmate system is pretty straight forward. My problems came from compatibility with the computer I used. It still gives me a run time error when I first start it up.

I'm going to try to get a a couple of cars together. Driving a truck for a living makes it hard to get things done. Guess we shall see!

Since there is a team chassis event I will be sending in several different types of ISS along with the Outlaw cars. I have one Tyco ISS car that is even quicker than the runner up Olds at the last race along with other fast ISS cars with different chassis. I will do what I can with a 4G stock but my selection is limited to about 1 car!!!

Sorry guys and gals for delay in getting more info. up. I will do that this evening. Kiwidave has done some cool race posters that I will be posting as well. I want to be clear that the Manufacturers Challenge is Stock Inline, not Super Stock. Thanks.

Manufacturers Team Challenge
- Stock Inline as per NTRA rules nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rules no braids or shunts no sili foam tires chassis with adjustable end bells at neutral timing position - 22 gram minimum - Run at 20v - (2) cars per Racer. Only faster qualified car will race on the Manufacturer Team - American Musclecar type bodies preferred but not required
Car manufacturers to be represented are: Ford Chevrolet Chrysler Independents (Pontiac, AMC, all others)
Qualifying The (4 or ? not sure of the entries we will get for this one...maybe more on each team...maybe less) fastest qualifiers representing each of the manufacturers will qualify for each team. Cars that do not qualify will compete in a Open Competition ladder elimination for an individual title.
If a manufacturer team does not have the 4 or ? entries, then any open spots will be filled by the fastest qualifier from another manufacturer that is not already on a team.
Team Eliminations Three rounds will be run. Each team will race every other team once during each round. Cars will be matched up #1 vs #1, #2 vs #2, and so on. One point will be awarded for each race win and the team with the most points at the end of three rounds will be The Manufacturers Champion. Ties will go to the team with the quickest ET in eliminations, followed by the fastest MPH.
Open Competition All remaining cars that did not qualify for a team will race in a ladder elimination to decide the Open Competition Champion. Cars will be paired #5 vs #6, #7 vs #8, and so on.
That is pretty much it for the Manufacturers Challenge. I personally have not run a race like this before, so it should be fun. My first race with Nitroslots was a Manufacturers Challenge run by Rick Voeglin at Lions Drag Strip in 2011. It was a blast and is the reason I am still here today. All credit goes to Rick for this format. I have made a few subtle changes but it is unchanged for the most part.

Kiwi Challenge - stock 4 gear as per NTRA rules nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rules - 23 gram minimum - Modern Funny Car or Nostalgia Funny Car body preferred - Run at 18v - traction magnets are allowed New Zealand racers will be matched against Nitroslots members that accept each of the challenges. Once I know who the N.Z. racers will be, I will post them on the sign up list. At that point Nitroslots members will accept each of the N.Z. challenges. It will be first come first served.
There will be no qualifying. Cars will be run best 2 out of 3 as they are matched up. This is the 3rd running of the Kiwi Challenge here at Bear Creek Dragway. The 1st challenge was a tie. The 2nd went to New Zealand in a nail biter! Their fastest car blistered the track in a run off after all races ended in a tie for the second time.
Pro Street Outlaw nitroslots.com/thread/4197/street-outlaws-official-call-thread - Comp MT/XT,non MT as per NTRA rules nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rules - Full fendered bodies. Musclecar preferred - 21 gram minimum - Run at 18v - Call outs to be made on the Pro Street Outlaw Official thread. Link is listed above or click banner at the top of page.
This the 9th meeting of Pro Street Outlaws. Competition has heated up for sure. Spot races will be run in the order of the call outs. Any cars wanting to challenge for the #10 spot will be entered into a "Shark Pool" and will race for that opportunity.
Four Gear Outlaw nitroslots.com/thread/4225/4g-outlaws - Comp 4 gear as per NTRA rules nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rules - Doorslammer bodies as per NTRA Doorslammer class rules nitroslots.com/page/ntra-rules - 25 gram minimum - Run at 20v - Call outs to be made on the Four Gear Outlaw Official thread. Link is listed above or click banner at the top of page.
This the 2nd meeting of Four Gear Outlaws. Lots of spot movement in the 1st meeting. I expect more of the same for this one. Spot races will be run in the order of the call outs. Any cars wanting to challenge for the #10 spot will be entered into a "Shark Pool" and will race for that opportunity.
Updated lists can be found on the forum Home page. I will post list orders on race thread as we get closer to the event. This an unsponsored event that is for National, Manufacturer, and Outlaw bragging rights! Oh Yeah!!

Put me down for 2 Chevys in the inline stock manufacturers race. I will pick a couple out of the few!!!/hundred/?? I have. I will build a couple of 4G stockers also, I currently have none, even the track Ambulance is modified, but Don't depend on me for some quick ones, they may be slugs. The 57 Nomad will be there to defend it's crown things were tough for it at the last race, hung on by a thread. I am working on the 4g outlaw also.
