I am a member of SCI but admittedly I do not spend a lot of time over there. No reason for that other than I have limited time. I appreciate you promoting our Nitroslots races on SCI. We have several new racers because of it. I have a hard time navigating that site mostly due to not familiar with it enough and there is a ton of stuff going on there. I recently posted several pics of some of my cars on the drag car thread and have seen some "killer" customizing there. Need to spend more time over for sure. I have always thought the International competition with N.Z. was pretty awesome! My cars have been to every race there and that is also why I really get into the Kiwi Challenge! I even got to meet one of the racers Steve in person last year. He was in DFW on business at the same time I was mailing cars back to N.Z. Go figure! He was able to stop by and pick them up and visit for about an hour. It was very cool. Small world for sure!! As I have said many times before and again just recently......the stock builds, any of them, are my most difficult. Parts stock has a lot to do with that in some cases. The pick up shoes and their adjustment is so critical. Braids make a huge difference. I would have considered allowing braids, but I wanted to keep it simple for anyone newer that wanted to join in.

Nothing wrong with keeping some of the classes easier to build therefore allowing newer members a better chance to get started. Braids on some cars make a night and day difference, on others not much. I have met only one member in person and that was when I visited Fla. a couple of years ago for a pool tournament. I met Peter who used to race with us, the tournament happened to be close to where he lived.
