I don't know if anyone on this board has heard from Daniel Tyler of Slot Dragon, but he is developing a new system for bracket racing that will be hundreds less than the Trackmate system.
This is the latest email I have received fro Daniel, he is looking for as many people as possible that would be willing to purchase one of his new systems. Myself, I am all in.
Mr Criger.
In searching the web I was not able to find any stand-alone systems that offer bracket racing. The only competition I could find is computer dependent, costs $945, and the computer is not included! You get a Tree, some sensors, and a five inch Mylar disc.
I would like to make a complete bracket racing system that retails for $275. I would charge $175 for upgrades.
This can and will happen but I need to be sure that you really want it. I need at least thirty enthusiasts to lay down a forty five dollar deposit and I will put up the rest.
This is how it will go down. I will email yall in one day. I will wait seven days, if we have enough replies I will send money requests to everyone on that same day. I will wait seven more days, if enough people come through production will begin. If not I will refund to all those who did come though.
I will give progress reports every other Monday. I will have the Trees finished and in the mail with tracking number along with another set of sensors and a “Y” connect in no more than sixty days.
Thirty days after shipping everyone should have their Trees and the software will be well into the testing phase. It may even be ready but I doubt it. I tend to over test things. And there are many variables to consider. Just to name one example, I may be able the score a perfect 0.000 reaction time in ten minutes. Or it may take all of us all day. We need to pull -.001 0.000 and 0.001 RT’s to verify the red-light operation.
The max time clause for a delivered finished product will be five months from the day we commence operations which will begin seven days after I send out the money requests via Paypal. At which point you may return items to Portland, Oregon and I will refund your money if you like.
On the other hand, when the software becomes available you can take as much time as you wish to provide the $75 balance, send in your machine for uploading the new software, and you have a bracket racing machine.
If you know anyone who may be interested but does not have one of our machines to upgrade, if they can put down the $45 deposite they will receive a complete system within five months when they pay a balance of $185($230 total).
There will be a place on the SD3 page at our website that will give credit for all those who contribute to the cause. They can provide as much information as they like or of course, none at all.
I am so apprehensive to let this email go, I feel that there is so much riding on this text, but really there isn’t. You guys know the quality of our machines, you know I have the will, and more importantly you know that I have the means.
So this is it, crunch time, it’s all on to you now. Please click “reply”, type “let’s go”, and click “send”.
Thank you very much.
Daniel Tyler
