Hilltop's Comp Cam Camaro wants another shot at the Ace's Willys... If I get my butt kicked again, at least I tried...RM OK Hilltop I have added this call out to the list. It will be the sixth call out race. You will have to defend your #7 spot against Eagle in the fourth call out race to be able to honor your call out for the #6 spot. If that happens you will be racing the loser of the fifth call out race between HairyCanary and Kiwidave. Hope that makes sense.  Just the way I planned it!!! LOL...RM |

Crew and cars left for Texas, hope the weather is better there, lots o rain here. PSO car was running consistent .57s here at Smoky mountain and the 4GO is running it's best ever. 2018 NTRA Winter Nationals
All entrants should be thinking about getting their cars mailed. Thursday Feb. 22 is the day. I forgot to mention that Monday is Presidents Day and that will just throw another obstacle at the mail carriers. I am checking the mail everyday till Raceday and currently have haulers from Tennessee, South Carolina, Washington DC, and Washington en route to North Texas.

Bear Creek Dragway is ready, but I will be doing last minute track tuning and details this week leading up to the race. A second monitor is being added down track as well. The anticipation is building!! It will be a weekend of proxy HO slot car drag racing at it's finest! Arrival pics will start this weekend. I have taken time off to give the race 100% focus.

Well I'm not going to get the arrival pics up tonight. There were a lot of cars to check in and print cards on, etc. So that will happen tomorrow after work. In the meantime, here are a few pics of the track in race ready condition.
I have the back boards up at the start and finish for pictures. They will come down for the race. Winter Nationals signage is up.
Bear Creek now has a second monitor down track. Race info. can be viewed from anywhere.
I think the night pics are kinda cool.

This is the field of cars as it stands right now.
This is the meat of the race......the Bracket cars. If everyone that signed up shows, we will have 31 cars!
These are the List cars that have arrived so far. 4GO is in the back and PSO in the front. They are not in correct order yet.
And the Match Race group.
We are ready! It's countdown time now till race day. Only a few racers left to arrive.
