First up is Hairy Canary with his #1 qualifying yellow Firebird vs Nosubfor3 and his #10 spot gold Firebird. Nosubs car had tire trouble in qualifying. The glued on tire held and it made a better pass picking up 4 mph and a lot of ET, .6787 18.94, but it was not enough for Hairy Canary's rocket who took the win with a .5053 26.22.

IS rnd 1 1vs10

Next up is #2 qualifier JJWallace and his Hawaiian funny car vs Dave632s #9 red Mustang. JJ easily wins this one with a .5323 24.35 over .7446 16.23 for the Mustang.

IS rnd 1 2vs9

Next up Gnome and the #3 qualified gold Plymouth vs Dave632 and the #8 yellow 70 Mustang. The Plymouth easily takes the win with a .6089 18.99 vs a slowing .9020 11.69 for the Mustang.

IS rnd 1 3vs8

Next up #4 qualifier KiwiDave vs #7 ECBill. Here comes the first upset of the event as ECBills car picks up some ET and gets the win with a .6115 23.67 over Kiwi's .6268 21.99, closest race by far with a .0146 win margin. This was a good close race as reaction times were almost identical with Kiwi's being slightly better. The Camaro drove around the Mercury at about the 660' point for a good win.

IS rnd 1 4vs7

Next up #5 qualifier Hilltop and his Anglia "Radiation" vs #6 KiwiDave and his Stone Woods & Cook Willy's. This promises to be a close one as they qualified next to each other. As promised it is super close as in a mild upset the Willy's takes the win over the Anglia by only .0073 .6518 19.54 vs .6643 19.10 for the closest race of the event so far.

IS rnd 1 5vs6

That ends round 1 for Inline stock.

First up in this class is #1 qualifier Gnome and his Mazda vs Old Mechanic with a 65 Mustang at #14.
No contest here as Gnome takes the win .6536 19.31 vs 1.1842 9.95.

RIS Gnome vs Old Mechanic

Next up #2 qualifier Sandfly with a silver Dodge vs Clive and his #13 blue Camaro. No contest again as the Dodge takes it easily with a .6381 20.72 over .9339 13.61

RIS Sandfly vs Clive

Next is #3 qualifier Mustang Paul with a late model Mustang vs #12 Steve D. with Dodge. The Mustang takes the win easily with a .6936 18.73 over a .8044 15.43.

RIS Mustang Paul vs Steve D.

Next #4 qualifier GTS and his Jungle Jim Camaro takes an easy win over #11 Steve D's Vette "Firebender" with a .6881 19.94 vs .8419 13.50.

RIS #4 vs #11 GTS vs Steve D.

Next #5 qualifier Kstock and his orange Javelin vs #10 qualifier he has to race hisself Kstock with a blue Javelin. Insured of getting one of his cars in round 2. The orange/black Javelin takes it with a close win, .7733 16.67 vs a .7929 15.39 for a .0128 win margin and the closest race of Rookie stock so far. The blue car got the hole shot and was first to the 60' but after that it was all the Orange car.

RIS Kstoc vs hisself.

Next #6 qualifier GTS with his Henry J takes on #9 Clive with a Dodge. In a mild upset the Dodge takes the win in a super close race as the Henry J gets the hole shot by .003 but the Dodge takes the lead at the 330 and holds it. The Henry J makes a top end charge but there was just not enough track to get it done. Dodge wins it with a .8136 15.39 over a .8220 16.20 a win margin of only .0056. Great race.

RIS GTS vs Clive

Next up and the end of round one in Rookie inline stock is #7 qualifier Sandfly vs Ford Pinto vs #8 Old Mechanic in a Ford "blue max". This should be a close one as they qualified next to each other. As promised it was close. Old Mech gets the hole shot but loses it back at the 60' and hold it all the way past the 660' but Old Mechanic makes a top end charge and just drives by with a hole shot win .7563 18.23 over a slightly quicker .7547 17.17. All cars are started simultaneously so any advantage is made by the cars themselves.

I see several new names posted......welcome to Nitroslots and proxy drag racing racing. Great turnout and a lot of nice cars. Great job everybody. Dave your commentary is great. It puts us right there trackside. I know the time it takes to run the cars, take the notes, post the times and race details, etc, etc, etc.... You've got everything running smooth. I look forward to the rest of the day and weekend!

Come to think of it, not sure a blower and wheelie bar on a red Anglia Thames would be stock either, doh!!!

Here we go with Super stock #1 qualifier JJWallace and his Chevy Vega vs #10 Kstock and his late model Ford Mustang. The Vega takes the win going away with a .5192 25.54 vs the .6773 19.48 for the Mustang.

SS R1 #1 JJWallace & #10

Next up #2 qualifier Dave632 and his late model Camaro vs # 9 Old Mechanic and his 70 Mustang. The Mustang gets a good hole shot and 60' for the early lead but Camaro powers by at the 330' mark and pulls away for the win .5326 28.53 vs .6960 16.01. The Camaro really piled on the MPH in that one.

SS R1 #2 Dave632 & #9 Old Mechnic

Next up is #3 qualifier Gnome and his Motorcraft/Glidden T Bird vs ECBill and his #8 69 Camaro. The T bird takes the win with a .5448 23.19 vs a .6177 22.58 for the Camaro, note the speeds of these cars are close but the ET is significantly different. Bills car won this class at the last race I held but it is still running strong but not running as good as it did back then.

SS R1 #3 Gnome & #8 ECBill

Next up is #4 qualifier Dave632 and his black Chevy pickup vs #7 Kstock and his 70 Mustang. The pickup makes a good pass running a .5787 24.26 vs a .6396 23.27 for the Mustang.

SS R1 #4 Dave632 & #7 Kstock

Last up in this round of Super stock at #5 is ECBill with a blue Dodge vs #6 Old Mechanic and his red Lamborghini . This race promises to be a close one as they qualified next to each other. The closest of Super Stock it is so far as the victory margin is only .0221 with the Dodge getting the win with a .5981 20.17 vs .6212 19.37.

Here is the Super Comp 2.5 class:

Starting off with #1 qualifier Dave632 and the Chevy Super tire truck which gets the low ET bye.

Next up is the #2 qualifier Dave632 and his gold 57 Vette vs Kstock and his #11 black 40 Ford.
The Vette runs a .3884 31.86 to take the win over the 40 Ford which ran a .5549 20.98.

SC 2.5 #2 Dave632 vs # 11 Kstock

Next up is #3 qualifier JJWallace with his Snap on Funny car vs Hairy Canary and his #10 Plymouth Superbird.
The Snap on car runs a good .3922 36.46 vs the .4966 28.69 for the Plymouth for the win.

SC 2.5 #3 JJWallace vs #10 Hairy Canary

Next up is #4 qualifier KiwiDave and his late model red Camaro vs #9 KStock and his black Willys pickup.
The Camaro takes the win with a strong .3983 37.67 over the time of ..4712 26.53 for the Willy's.

SC 2.5 #4 KiwiDave vs #9 Kstock

Next up is #5 qualifier GTS with his 57 Chevy Nomad UFO vs # 8 qualifier Hairy Canary late model Mustang.
The races are getting closer now as the qualifying times are similar. The gold 57 takes the win however with a
time of .4113 at a strong 36.07 over the .4503 30.99 of the Mustang.

SC 2.5 #5 GTS vs #8 Hairy Canary

Final race of round 1 for Super Comp 2.5 finds #6 Gnome with his 70 Camaro vs ECBill with his white 57 Vette.
The Camaro finds the way home first with a .4077 33.75 vs .4356 29.64 for the Vette. This was the closest race of
this round with a win margin of .0256.

SC 2.5 #6 Gnome vs #7 EC Bill

This concludes round 1 of Super Comp 2.5. To be continued tomorrow. The 6 cars left are close in qualifying times, tomorrow
will be a race to watch.

Only .0327 difference between the final six cars in the Super Comp class. Probably the tightest group of racers I have seen in all the races I have held. Pretty much almost any of those cars can win this class.

Round 2 Rookie Inline:

TQ Gnome gets the 2nd round bye.

First up Sandfly vs Kstock. Sandfly takes the win with a .6273 20.54 over Kstock who ran a .7725 17.55.

R-2 RIS Sandfly vs Kstock

Next up is Mustang Paul vs Old Mechanic. Mustang Paul takes the win with a .6343 18.89 over a .7522 17.99.

Final race of round 2 is GTS vs Clive. GTS takes the win with a .6531 20.29 over a .8219 15.08

SEMI FINALS:

Only 4 cars left now and they are close. First up is Gnome vs GTS, Gnome gets the win with a .6370 19.05 over a .6987 20.23. This race should have been a lot closer
but the Jungle Jim Camaro seemed to lose a bit of performance off the line and that was all Gnome needed for the win.

SEMI RIS Gnome vs GTS

Next up is Sandfly vs Mustang Paul, this race should be a good one... Sandfly takes the win as Mustang Pauls car hesitates slightly on the line. Sandfly makes his
best run of the event with a .6143 21.11 over Mustangpauls .6631 19.31. This should have been a very close race...

SEMI RIS Sandfly vs MustangPaul

FINALS:

Number 1 qualifier Gnome running a Tyco 440 powered Mazda vs #2 qualifier Sandfly with a Super G+ powered Dodge.
The Dodge gets the win in an upset as Gnomes car slowed down slightly Sandflys car dropped in ET running it's best ET of the
event in the final.
