Let's keep our fingers crossed that Vince's cars show up today. Rick Vince's cars arrived this afternoon...yay! He will make the List races tomorrow. Things are moving, but moving a little slow in getting all the details...qualifying...and calculations. We will be posting ladder and then beginning eliminations in a few minutes. Things will get rolling then. Thanks everyone for the good words.

Round 1 Race 1 JLM Racing is the lucky racer and draws the bye for this round. There was only one to give and he got it. The GTO was smooth as silk in Qualifying , but has a slight stutter at the hit and still almost equals his best QT. .4783ET
Round 1 Race 2 Eagle has the faster car and has to wait on his light while Darius tears down the tree with a .0019RT. Eagle's driver cuts a good light but can't overcome the Nova's early advantage. Darius wins 1.1817ET .0028WM
Round 1 Race 3 Both cars ease into the beams and the lights go down. The Willys hesitates at the line before taking off and that was all the Cheetah needed to turn on the win light. Mazda wins 1.0520ET
Round 1 Race 4 GTS will have to be disciplined since the Delivery will leave first. Kiwidave cuts a great light and has just enough to hold off the hard charging Vette! 20ft more and GTS would have caught him. Kiwidave wins .9938ET

That's OK I did not realize it or I would have gotten the percentage in sooner.

Round 1 Race 5 The Willys is going to get the green first and is putting down a smooth run when the Summit car leaves. Alan slows way down from his qualifying numbers and allows Ncdragracer to move onto the next round. Nc wins 1.2929ET
Round 1 Race 6 This was the closest race of the day so far. The Mustang leaves first and the Nomad has to play catch up......which it does! Dave clips Ecbill at the line with a .0322WM. We've seen closer finishes before, but to the naked eye, this was a close one. Dave632 wins .4441ET
Round 1 Race 7 The Head Hunter Camaro is going to take the win easily as Clydes Tbird is another car that slows way down from qualifying. Hairy Canary's Chevy caught the Ford just after half track. HC wins .7666ET
Round 1 Race 4 This race sees a double foul. The Impala finds some extra speed and runs faster than his Dial In and breaks out. But MPR was a little too anxious at the start and turns on the red light, handing the win back to PO. PO wins 1.2112ET

Round 1 Race 9 Both of these cars leave with close to the same reaction time so there's no real advantage there. The green '69 Camaro runs closer to his Dial In on this one and puts the Boss of Mustang Paul's on the trailer. Hilltop wins .7836ET.
Round 1 Race 10 The Charger of JJW's runs .07 slower than he needed and that's all the Blue Flame Cuda needed to send him packing. The Cuda is looking like a contender. Ecbill wins .6194ET.
Round 1 Race 11 These cars are worlds apart both in ET and literally. The Altered is from N.Z and it is going to runs just good enough to hit the traps before the Nomad of Dave632 blows past. The Chevy barely ran out of real estate on that one. Great race! Sandfly wins 1.0803ET.
Round 1 Race 12 The next two are matched up a little closer in ET. The Halloween Hearse gets the better reaction time and the 40 Ford runs closer to his number but blows both tires off right at the finish line. Darius is able to get by Eagle and is moving on to Round 2. Another great race! Darius wins .7594ET.
Broke the bead locks on both rear tires (glue lost the battle with centrifugal force ).

Jeff, please dial in 2% for both cars in all following rounds. Due to the time difference the race will go through the night over here.

I don't understand the dail in thing...but I guess do 2.5% dial in...still lost in the sauce so I'm guessing this will do... Wendell your car has 3 passes on it right now. ..4732, .4929, .4783. Fairly consistent numbers. The percentage is just a cushion in case your car picks up a little. Your last pass was .4783.....at minus 1% would be .4736DI or dial in. That is slower than your last pass, but it ran faster than that in qualifying and it could break out (running faster than your dial in). So figuring 5% would be .4543DI and that is too big a gap. The disadvantage of that is a bigger stagger at the start......meaning you would have to sit there almost a full 2 hundredths longer before the green light came on than at 1%. Meanwhile your opponent is driving away. Make any more sense?? Bottom line.....I think you understand better than you think and a 2.5% should be ok.
