Thought you guys might enjoy seeing the chassis of the Camaro that ran in the Frankenstien race against Dave's Mustang. It's an Aurora Xcellerator, modified to accept a Tjet gear plate. As you can see, it uses a Magnatraction style brush/spring set-up. Another nice feature is the snap-in rear axle. These were origanlly slotless cars with the wheels fixed in a turning position, so a front axle had to be fabbed. Stock Tjet pick-up shoes fit perfectly. Being slotless there was no provision for a guide pin. The other chassis is a G+ with a few features I've not noticed before. It's stamped Super G Plus between the crown gear and motor magnets. It has a snap-in rear axle with an orange crown gear and orange coated magnets. It's also stamped Made in Singapore. Up till now, I always thought a Super G+ was the chassis with the adjustable timing. Bill

Like the t jet top on xc i have jl with xc top the other is fairly rare afx super g+ my books conflict each other one has them being introduced in 1978 the other 1982-1983 ,thier was also a super g+ in the aurora tommy line up
