Dave, I would like to enter two cars in each category please.. Dave, clarify please ? stock chassis must have the components they were manufactured with? I am not allowed to use a 6 OHM mean green arm in an Aurora MagnaTraction (4-gear or AFX) type chassis because neither of those were issued with that 6 OHM mean green armature? similarly, I cannot use the blue tip green wire drag arm that came in the Non MagnaTraction Aurora chassis in an Aurora Magnatraction (or Auto World 4-gear) chassis? am I allowed to use Auto World magnets in Aurora chassis? I think these questions are self evident, but, I would like clarification before I continue building. also, .... traction magnets , is there a limited number per chassis? or location requirement? while I realize that most folks are using Auto World chassis because of the ready availability, some of us have older Aurora chassis and parts and it would be interesting to see how the old stacks up against the new. also, for anyone interested, I will run a similar event on my 1/8 drag strip after Dave's race and folks can make arrangements to send me their cars if interested. al Al, Glad to have you back racing with us again. Tell us more details about your upcoming race. Bill

Dave, thank you and Randy for the info. it WAS staring me right in the face. LOL!
I respectfully request to have Ed Shultz added to the list for two cars in each class.
Bill, I will run the race using the exact same cars/rules as Dave on my 1/8 mile. those who are interested might have KiwiDave ship them directly to me for that event. not to take anything away from JJ, he does a splendid job with coordinating.
I am sending enough cash to Dave to cover shipping back to me, so there will be no additional onus on racers. and i already have most racers snail mail addys, so returning their cars after my event should be easy and quick.
again, not to step on anyone's toes on Nitro or upset the order of racing already scheduled here. just allowing for another opportunity

FYI.......I only ship to N.Z., Kiwidave takes care of the return shipping duties to everyone. Not stepping on anybody's toes here. Myself and I know others here appreciate the added racing venue in this years schedule. Good luck to you and Ed Shultz in New Zealand. Jeff

Thanks Dave Thanks this is the car I built for the trip to Voltage Valley Raceway. Thought it would be cool to restore one of the original FC's to try to compete with the more modern Flip Tops. But in testing it proved to be to big of a Pig (to heavy) and I didnt have time to try and lighted it so I had to resort to the LA Hooker Mustang. Plus the aerodynamics where very poor too. This was Jungle's First FC after driving The BRUTUS GTO. This car had COLE Chevrolet on the door before he became Jungle Jim. That's his wife Bobby (Pre Jungle Pam) with the prime can. Maybe next year ? AWESOME Rick!!

The wheelie bars are off, the big blocks have been pulled and replaced with small blocks. All power adders have been yanked. The cars are tuned up and ready for the trip to Voltage Valley for some stock racing action. A Nomad, Camaro and a pair of Cudas. Bill your cars arrived late yesterday. Thanks again for the super sweet pull back cars and bodies. I appreciate you! Jeff

All entrants that are shipping from Texas are now in the house! Thank you to everybody for getting the cars here early! All of you have been very generous with the entry/shipping dollars! Thank you for that. Anything that I don't need for shipping to N.Z. will be passed on to Kiwidave. YOU GUYS ROCK!! The enthusiasm for this seasons racing has been a pretty awesome thing! We have had great turnouts...great cars...and great racing at every venue thus far. I hope EVERYBODY will continue racing for YEARS....yes YEARS to come . Kiwidave puts on a great event and the NTRA International is definitely something to look forward to!
Cars will be headed to New Zealand and Voltage Valley Raceway Friday!!

Thanks to all for entering the NTRA International. The entry lists are set and can be viewed on page one of this thread. Top 16 qualifiers go through to race day. As mentioned earlier Alpink has offered to host an 1/8 mile race at his track following the NTRA International. Al's race is for the same classes racing at the International. An entry list thread will be posted. I can post your cars directly to Alpink after the International race for those entering. I will be entering so postage will be arranged from my end. Looking forward to seeing how quick the field will be this year. Will we see any sub one second runs in Funny Car?

Dave,
I you don't mind, I'd like to have my cars sent to Al's race after the International event is complete.
Speaking of international, how many nations will be represented?
Thanks, Bill
