So with the track operational, we went racing, these pixs are from the warm up meet a few days before the first race night. As you can see the other side of the garage has been turned into the pits for the boys, with a long bench and good lighting, tons of room to move and to work on cars. Must admit, building a track is one thing but to keep both lanes the same is a nightmare,

More great pics! I'm soooooo jealous of the weekly events you talk about. Sadly I have never been to a live event other than Eagle Racing and I getting together. Someday it will happen, but I have to find other racers around. I know they have to be here....it's finding them that has been tricky. I guess I will have to try Facebook. I'm not much into the social media scene but it seems to be the way of the world these days. Sandfly you have built yourself a perfect HO drag racing venue! I wish I could show up at your next gathering.

I have never been to a live event either. I was invited to race in Georgia but the 4 hours each way was a deterrent.

Getting better at this, just a few of the trinkets for the track, one of my sons, Thomas produced this race night ladder program, works well but takes to long to get all the info in on a race night, and has a glitch that sometimes misses cars out, after selecting the racers and their cars for the night, the qualifying times are added and the program populates the ladders so the racers can see who racing who and who has lane choice. Slot Dragon 2 timing system, now with 1/8th mile, 1000 ft and 1/4 mile finishing sensors, waiting for the upgrade to sd3. Dyno for bench testing, I keep a record of all the rpms for each race car when tuning is being done. Parmar 45 ohm controllers 2x 30 volt, 10 amp power supplies, will be looking to upgrade these as the tuning to the correct voltage is a pain as they keep creeping up or down .1 volt.

nice track set up. I didn't know Slot dragon had progressed so far. I am very interested in the program that sets the starting ladder. even more interested in one that also advances the correct car during eliminations. I was, somehow, mistakenly, under the impression that Track Mate did that. always interested in seeing other folks' set ups. keep up the good work.

My power supplies tend to drop a little voltage until they are fully warmed up, don't think it is anything unusual. Glad to hear Slot Dragon has progressed with their timing system, they have done a good job in the past.

Just some random pix of the track and stuff, hope you enjoy. One of my first paint jobs, fiat altered, good consistent runner Every one needs at least 1 KIWI DAVE car in their collection heres mine, the 57 chev, took some badgering to get this tho, sweet ride. Wow this is what happens when you try to save your car from going over the edge onto the floor, SQUASHED it. New body waiting, this car has now come out from the grave yard and is racing while my other cars are at Al Pinks meet. Ever one needs a couple of Willies here are mine both on closed rivet chassis. These don't get raced. Goose Bumps, TJet outlaw And for something different, 1935 Austin 7 mk1 ruby, rat rod build, Toyota starlet running gear, 4 cylinder 5 speed, twin carbs, triangulated 4 bar rear end.
