Yup, same story here, too. Lost track of how many times I tore down the 4G cars lookin' for extra thousands quicker, only to make them hundredths slower, lol. On the inline stocks I refrained and limited it to new shoes on the BSRT and a light oiling only on the TR3. Getting anxious to see how everyone fares this weekend!

Dang, y'all making me feel lazy! At least ya put some real time into your cars. My PSO is a runner from years gone past that I dug out of an old pit box. Added braid, shunts, and traction mags. Then oiled it, and boxed it. My V-I/S cars are as they came from Viper Racing, not taking really any time to break them in. The 4G S/C I got from Dave so I might provide some competition in this class. Except for the Chevelle, there is no real time in the bodies either. I did manage to piece together enough AW track locally (man that stuff is like a washboard!!) for an 1/8th to make sure they all got from A-B. Being slammed at work and trying to finish up the outside remodel on the house we started earlier this year before cold weather hits takes up most of my time. At the least, I can say I participated, OohRah!!

These cars, especially the pancakes, have a mind of their own despite being a machine. I have looked at them funny and they proceed to run bad. Running fair to good you can take them apart for a cleaning and they will fall on their face. I have also had them come alive when racing another car that they had just lost to, makes no sense at all. Jeff's T bird was a great example at my last race. Having lost the #1 spot it then ran it's best run, setting a track record, in the next race!! I am anxious to see my inlines run in Texas as they both were running well here but you never know what will happen.

I can relate. I've had them run great at one race then fall flat on their face at another. I'd put them away and build a new car. Pull the old one back out after 4 or 5 races and it would run better than it ever had. Go figure. Guess they are like a woman!! LOL!!!

2018 NTRA Texas Nationals
Well this has never happened before...... All the racers that signed up are in the house....and early!! That makes things easier on me. I can check ALL the cars in and get them segregated into their classes and not have to wait for anything.
Thank you to everybody for that!!
