Curious how the SC class will shake out. If we were not running 4GO in conjunction with this race, I would have put my 4GO chassis in a dragster body since it could clean the clocks of both of my SC entries. It will be interesting to see what others are able to get out of these cars. Bill I was thinking the same thing. My 4GO car was a half tenth faster with ceramic motor magnets. I couldn't duplicate it with either of the two I built.

Hairy Canary, where is your inline stock Firebird? It ran fantastic on my track. Did you retire it undefeated?? Dave no I didn't retire it yet ? It has a balanced arm in it and I didn't want to screw that car up like I did my other ones so I left it alone. I tried to use it to motivate the other cars to Haul A$$ but they weren't wanting any of that. I had two DR-1's running really good but the chassis's failed on them and I ran out of time. So I sent a Viper I put together that fell on its face pretty bad. The Firebird was still running .500's and dipping into the .490's at 27 MPH. I don't know whats up with that ? I guess if I did my other cars would be running better.

Sorry to not see the Firebird in this race it is a super runner. Personally I have found balancing to make no difference in any of my cars but it makes sense that it should make a difference. As I previously stated my cars are quicker on my track which I attribute to the power supplies. I have had cars, even stockers, run a full tenth slower on other tracks. I was pretty sure the Inline cars would do well but the 4Gs are a surprise. The yellow dragster previously had a 1 ohm armature in it which I matched Jeff with at a couple of races, he won both of those matches. I put a mean green in it and it ran surprisingly well here at 24 volts hitting a best of .517.
