All cars have now been mailed back to their owners. I have tracking numbers on all of them if needed. Thanks Jeff! Normally I would request a tracking number but am hooked up with USPS Informed Delivery now and already got notification that it's on it's way.
Thanks again! G

Hauler rolled in from Texas today. Must have taken some extra time to see the sights on Columbus day. The boys wanted to go see Pee Wee's bike at the Alamo. A nice looking Pro Mod Vega body and a 6-71 blower came home with the crew. Thanks Jeff!

just wanted to mention builds.
inline ... blue Camaro, JAG DR1 chassis that I tried to make fit the RaceMasters/AFX blue Camaro. the after market rear set screw wheels from "Bob" look great and I used narrowed slip on silicone tires (very soft, manufacturer unknown) that still hit the body using 9 volt battery. honing inside body .... I got carried away and actually chewed through the body (which could been basis for DQ had it run). apparently at higher voltage the tires grew tremendously and hit the body causing out of control conditions. Jeff, thank you for trying to run the car anyway. oh yeah, it has 1/24 wheelie bar wheels on the front that nearly match the rears. the chassis was broke in on the 9 volt battery for awhile. .... white GN , Viper chassis ... stock with body that came with. didn't even have time to break that in. Qualified 3 I think.
4-gear .... white front engine rail .... Tom Peterson built this for me a couple years ago and I merely changed the arm to be legal. Eagle Racing custom silifoams on rear. .... Big Dog, threw this AW chassis together at literally the last minute.. used the rear wheels that came off the JAG DR1 and found some medium soft slip on silicones that compliment the wheels and body nicely. the front wheels are Aurora Cigar Box for nostalgia purposes. incidentally, Randy (hilltop racing) painted this body for me quite some time ago and I just had to race it. thanx for the honorable mention in the "best ,,,," but the kudos go to Randy.
finally, shame on me ... I always procrastinate and finished these cars at 2 am the day they were shipped out. the shame part ... is that I have a track to test on and none of these cars were tested before being shipped/raced. moral of story .... the Viper inline ran best and I did least with it. so, anyone can be competitive on any given day.
newbies, join us for racing fun.

The inline cars that ran at Jeff's were both Jag DR-1 chassis. Dead Stock except for gears and rear tires. The yellow dragster was an old, about 45 years old, Aurora specialty 4 gear that had traction magnets added to it. I switched the top plate in it to conform to the rules with a mean green arm that read about 5.7 ohms. Magnets were poly reading about 1500 on my gauss meter. Anything stronger slowed the car. I spent a lot of time on the inline stockers. I built a BSRT chassis with a 6 ohm armature and it was just a little slower in ET, about .01, than both the Jag chassis. It would have been a contender at Jeff's race had I sent it. The 57 Nomad is another 45 year old chassis well worn in. Non magnatracion with Dash ceramic magnets, the same mean green arm it has had for I don't know how long, .474 Super Tires, braid and shunts. It is one of those chassis that just works.

My cars at Jeff's Race: - 33 Willys PU; Jag TR3 totally stock, cut the bag open and it ran good enough that I didn't want to risk foolin' with it. - 55 Chev; Jeff was nice enough to loan me a body that worked. I failed to notice the 55 body was limiting the travel of the shoes. BSRT with neo traction mags, had been a runner for guests on the road course. I think I put new shoes on it also. - Bantam Roadster; Aurora 4G, 6 ohm mean green off ebay, HC poly mags, shoe braids & stock AW drag slicks on JAG wheels. - Fuel Dragster; AW 4G Dragster, 6 ohm mean green off ebay, HC poly mags, shoe braids & JAG slicks on JAG wheels. I struggled with the two pancake cars. Put the armature in & out 3 or 4 times each trying to get rid of some binding. I got lots to learn with pancakes. All my cars ran significantly better on Jeffs track than they did mine .

Enjoying you guys posting about your builds. I'm always curious about what the rest of you are running. Mine were:
Vega- BSRT G3 with ceramic magnets and braids Motion Camaro- Box stock Jag TR3 except for braids. ( side bar, 2nd entry was supposed to be a Viper but it didn't cut it. It may have a weak arm ) Topolino - AFX non Magnatraction specialty chassis, mean green, poly magnets Top fuel RED- Magnatraction specialty chassis, mean green, poly magnets
