Flickr photo, which many of us use to share our pictures will be limiting us to 1000 photos unless you pay 50.00 a year.
Anyone know how to delete old photos that are no longer needed??

It's $50 if you pay by the month. If you pay annually it is $35. I use it a lot and upped for the annual fee. Still a great deal. I prefer their service over others I've tried. Dave I believe you can click the photo like you are going to share it. Click edit (the little box with the pencil in it at the bottom) and it should give you a delete option. That is the one at a time method. There may be a way to do a mass delete. I want to caution anybody that if you move your photos in Flikr to another file, etc. If you have them posted somewhere such as Nitroslots, they will disappear.

I just now deleted a photo I had sent someone in a PM and this is how I did it: 1 - When on the Flicker website, I clicked the second tab at the top left (You) and then clicked "photostream". 2 - In photostream I selected the photo that I wanted to delete, it comes up in a new window. In the lower right there is a tab called "Edit". When I clicked on it, one of the options it gave me was to delete it. I picked that option and the photo was deleted.
Whoops, guess I'm a pretty slow typer, lol.

From my understanding the $35 is a one time 30% off deal if done by the end of November for the first, after that it is $50/year. Not really surprising they're doing this and at least they're going about it better than photobucket did.

Thanks for the info. I have many I can delete that will have no effect on anything. Pretty much the only thing I use Flickr for is posting HO car photos. Yes Photobucket gave no warning about what they did. Flickr at least gave us some warning.
